Upon arrival and further investigation Jordan A. Sabinski, 18yoa of Plain City was arrested and charged with OVI, Failure to Control, Expired License, Under Age Consumption and possession of Drug Paraphernalia. A crash report was completed.
8/19/2014	7:52 PM	Non-Injury Crash	Carriage Dr.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a non-injury crash. Matthew Hopkins, 41yoa of Delaware, Ohio was subsequently issued a citation for Failure to Control and a crash report was completed.
8/21/2014	12:45 PM	Possible Theft	Willow Creek Dr.	On the listed date and time, an officer met with a resident on station who advised that they set a wheel-barrel out beside the curb while he was cleaning up yard clippings (trash-day). They advised that between 11:30am-12:30 this date, an unknown person removed his wheel-barrel from the curb. The resident believes that someone must have thought it was trash. An officer patrolled the area looking for scrappers, but did not locate any out during this time. The resident also checked with the refuge company, who advised they did not pick it up.

Contact was made with the owner, who was instructed to contact the business owner.
8/22/2014	7:45 PM	Suspicious Person	North Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in regards to a male subject hitchhiking in the area of US RT 42 and North Chillicothe Street. The complainant stated that it was a white male wearing a hat and a gray shirt walking towards US RT 42. The officer patrolled the area but was unable to locate anyone in the area.
8/22/2014	10:52 PM	Domestic Dispute	North Ave.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a noise complaint. Upon arrival an officer could hear a male subject yelling from outside the listed location. The officer made contact with the resident. The resident advised that he had been involved in a verbal dispute with his girlfriend. Both agreed to remain calm for the night and to keep the noise down.

Upon further investigation Lewis Davis, 61 of London, Ohio was subsequently cited for Improper Starting and Backing. A crash report was completed.
8/23/2014	11:46 AM	Failure to Pay	West Main St.	On the listed date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a drive off. The driver was located and it was determined to be an issue with a credit card. The driver contacted the business owner and made restitution.
8/23/2014	12:45 PM	Domestic Dispute	West South St.	On the stated date and time an officer was met on station by a resident in regards to a domestic dispute involving her ex-boyfriend.  Contact was made with the ex-boyfriend and he was advised not to contact the ex-girlfriend any longer.
8/23/2014	4:54 PM	Assist Other Agency	Converse Rd.	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location to assist UCSO on a residential alarm drop.
8/23/2014	11:01 PM	Drunk	Willow Creek Dr.	On the stated date and time while on patrol an officer was flagged down and advised of an unconscious male laying in the yard of the listed location. The male was highly intoxicated and advised he had been drinking with a few friends at the listed location. Contact with the resident who advised they would ensure the male stayed in the house the rest of the evening.
8/24/2014	2:29 AM	Drunk Driver	West Main St.	On the listed date and time, an officer observed a vehicle traveling west on West Main St. strike a small trailer attached to a pickup truck, the vehicle continued westbound where it struck a grey 2007 Pontiac, during the impact the vehicle flipped over and came to rest on its top. Upon checking the driver she advised she was not injured and had no signs of injury, Medic 261 arrived and she advised them she was uninjured as well. After further investigation Marcie D. Mullholland, 21yoa of Milford Center, Ohio was subsequently arrested and charged with Failure to Control, OVI, and Drug Paraphernalia. A crash report was completed.
8/25/2014	3:47 AM	Curfew	East Main St.	On this date and time, an officer observed a male walking east on East main Street near Washington Avenue that appeared to be a juvenile. It was determined the suspect was a 17 year old juvenile out past curfew and contact was made with his probation officer to address the issue for a probation violation.
8/25/2014	5:31 AM	Assist Other Agency	Plain City-Georgesville Rd.	On this date and time, an officer was advised by a passer-by of a semi blocking Plain City-Georgesville Road just south of Converse-Huff Road. Upon arrival contact was made with the driver and the vehicle was moved.
8/26/2014	12:43 AM	Domestic Dispute	North Ave.	On the stated date and time officers responded to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. The caller (who wished to remain anonymous) advised that they could hear people arguing loudly from inside the listed location. Upon arrival contact was made with  the residents. They initially denied any argument had occurred but later admitted that they had been in a verbal dispute. Both parties agreed to separate and remain calm for the evening. We then returned to patrol.
8/26/2014	2:50 AM	Domestic Dispute	North Ave.	On the stated date and time officers responded to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival contact was made with the same two parties from the earlier domestic dispute. Both were still arguing. Contact was attempted with friends/family to attempt to pick up the female half, but it was not successful. Both parties agreed they would separate for the evening and go to bed.

Phelps, 23yoa of Irwin was subsequently cited for Failure to Control and Full Time Attention. A crash report was completed.
8/26/2014	9:09 PM	Alarm Drop	Gay St.	On the listed date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to an activated alarm. The officer was advised it was accidental employee error.

On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location at the request of the Madison County Sheriff's Office in reference to an attempted suicide. Upon arrival the officer located the suspect and made the scene safe for the medics to respond.
8/27/2014	5:45 AM	Theft	Friend St.	On the stated date and time an officer was met at the police department by a resident in reference to a theft complaint. It was reported their debit card had been used online to make unauthorized purchases. A report was taken.
8/27/2014	2:23 PM	Theft of Services	Shepper Ave.	On the above date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in regards to a theft of services complaint. A report was taken.
8/28/2014	7:55 AM	Theft -	East First Ave.	On the above date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in regards to a theft complaint. It was reported the plumbing and copper had been removed from the vacant house. A suspect was determined, but the reporting party declined to pursue the matter since it involved another family member.
8/28/2014	11:16 AM	Suspicious Person	West Ave.	On the above date and time, officers responded to the listed location in regards to a suspicious person. Upon arrival it was determined to be okay and the caller was made aware of the circumstances.
8/28/2014	4:39 PM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	Doe St.	On the listed date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a suspicious vehicle/ person. The caller advised that a man was sitting in a white van in front of her neighbors house and had been sitting there for 20 minutes. Upon arrival, it was discovered the party was a glass repairman and had a work order for the location. The caller was advised of the officers findings.
8/28/2014	5:42 PM	Theft - Felony	West Bigelow Ave.	On the listed date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a theft. The caller advised that sometime during her visit to the listed location an unknown person stole her wallet. The wallet contained several credit cards, approximately $80 in cash and her driver's license. An ongoing investigation is being conducted.
8/29/2014	1:45 PM	Theft - Felony	West Bigelow Ave.	On the above date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a "smash and grab." The victims purse containing cash, checks and credit cards were stolen. The purse was found in dumpster in Hilliard on 08/30/14. An ongoing investigation is underway.
8/29/2014	11:53 PM	Assist Other Agency	Smith-Calhoun Rd.	On the stated date and time officers responded to the listed location at the request of the Madison County Sheriff’s Department in reference to a fight. Upon arrival the scene was made safe for the arrival of the medics and until the MCSO arrived.

9/3/2014	8:55 PM	Warrant - Misdemeanor	West Main St.	On the above date and time, after having prior knowledge that David A. Harig, 47yoa of Plain City had an entered warrant (confirmed) issued for his arrest from the Marysville Municipal Court for Failure to Appear, officers made contact with him at his residence and he was taken into custody for the warrant and transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
9/4/2014	9:24 AM	Parking Complaint	South Jefferson Ave.	On the above date and time, an officer received a parking complaint at the listed location. The officer provided the caller with options concerning having the vehicle towed.
9/4/2014	11:04 AM	Warrant - Misdemeanor	Maple St.	On the above date and time, while on routine patrol, an officer initiated a traffic stop at the listed location. Upon further investigation Reuben H. Stutzman, 47yoa of Plain City was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued through the Madison County Municipal Court for Failure to Appear. Ruben was also issued a citation for driving under suspension, no operator license, expired license, expired tags, and not wearing his safety belt. Reuben’s vehicle was impounded and he was transported to the Tri-County Jail concerning the warrant.
9/6/2014	12:55 AM	Assist Other Agency	SR 161 E	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location at the request of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office in reference to an alarm drop and open door. Upon arrival the officer assisted a deputy in checking the property.
9/6/2014	10:54 AM	Parking Complaint	Cooper Ln.	On the stated date and time, an officer was dispatched to the intersection of Cooper Lane and Willow Creek Drive in reference to a parking complaint. The complainant, who wished to remain anonymous, stated that there was a red van parked to close to the intersection that causing a vision obstruction. Upon arrival, the officer located the vehicle in question. The vehicle was approximately 50-60' from the stop sign and was parked legally. 1250 Hrs- An officer received a call at the police department from a male subject who advised that he was the original complainant. The caller wanted the vehicle moved. The officer explained to him that the vehicle was legally parked.
9/6/2014	7:27 PM	Non-Injury Crash/Private	East Main St.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a non-injury private property crash. A report was taken.
9/6/2014	9:35 PM	Well-being Check	Fairfield Dr.	On the listed date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a well being check. Upon arrival everything was determined to be okay.

Dispatch advised on call back the caller advised everything was okay she had accidentally called. Upon arrival  the officer met with the resident and determined that everything was fine.
9/7/2014	3:01 AM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	South Jefferson Ave.	On the listed date and time, while on routine patrol on South Jefferson Avenue an officer observed vehicle parked on the lot of the listed location.  Upon checking the vehicle an officer found a subject inside the vehicle sleeping. Everything was determined to be okay.

On the stated date and time an officer was requested by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office to the listed location in reference to a vehicle vs. bicycle crash. Upon arrival the officer assisted with the scene until the Ohio State Highway Patrol arrived.
9/7/2014	12:43 PM	Trespasser	West Second Ave.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a trespassing complaint. Contact was made with the juvenile suspect and his parents who were visiting from out of town. A warning was given.
9/7/2014	1:25 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	Gay St.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a loose canine. The canine was transported to the Police Department and secured it in the kennel. The officer then attempted to locate the owner but was unsuccessful. The Madison County Dog Warden was advised and arrived later to pick up the canine.
9/7/2014	2:18 PM	DOC	North Ave.	On the listed date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to an unknown male urinating on the north side of the building. Upon arrival the suspect was gone.
9/9/2014	12:08 PM	Theft - Felony	North Chillicothe St.	On this date and time, an officer met with a resident at the police department in reference to unauthorized purchases on their bank account. A report was taken.
9/9/2014	3:40 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	West Main St.	On the stated date and time, an officer received a call from a resident who advised that she believed another person was following her around while driving in town. She did not want the police department to make contact with the suspect at this time.
9/9/2014	9:55 PM	Well-being Check	Willowbend Cir.	On the stated date and time I was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a well-being check. Upon arrival everything checked okay.
9/10/2014	4:26 PM	911 Follow-up	West Main St.	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a 911 Follow-up. Dispatch advised that the call mapped in the area of the residence. Upon arrival, the officer patrolled the area but was unable to locate anyone in distress.
9/10/2014	4:31 PM	Assault - Juvenile	North Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time, an officer was flagged down in reference to an assault that occurred at the listed location involving juveniles. One of the juveniles reportedly had minor injuries.  Upon further investigation contact was made with the parents of all involved. The mother of the juvenile that was kicked and scratched did not want to pursue with charges, but wanted the other parties to refrain from contacting her child. All parties were warned and advised about the consequences of their actions.
9/10/2014	5:00 PM	911 Follow-up	Jackson Blvd.	On the stated date and time, an officer was dispatched to the area of the listed location in reference to a 911 Follow-up. Dispatch advised that a call phone called 911 and mapped in the field behind the listed location. Upon arrival,  the officer checked the area. The officer also spoke with several neighbors who stated that the number didn't belong to them.
9/11/2014	3:05 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	East Third St.	On the stated date and time, an officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to an animal complaint. The complainant had a large snapping turtle in her yard. The officer placed the turtle in his vehicle and transported it to McKitrick Park, where it was released.

9/15/2014	3:00 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	North Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time an officer was flagged down at the listed location by a juvenile who advised that an unknown male juvenile approached him and told him that another party wanted to "beat him up." Contact was made with all the parents and they were made aware of the situation.
9/16/2014	7:08 AM	Parking Complaint	Gay St.	On this date and time, an officer observed a dark blue Toyota Celica parked blocking the crosswalk on Gay Street at West Bigelow Avenue. The vehicle was also parked along the curb which was painted yellow to indicate that parking is prohibited. A Parking Violation citation was issued.

The caller did not want the officer to make contact with the suspect who was coming into the location at this time.

9/18/2014	4:56 PM	Assist Other Agency	SR 161 W	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the field east of the intersection of SR 161 W and Lafayette-Plain City Road, to assist the Union County Sheriff's Office in reference to an active road rage incident. Upon arrival it was determined to be a misunderstanding and not a road rage incident.

A Dog Bite/quarantine form was completed and faxed to the Union County Health Department. A copy of the report was forwarded to the Union County Dog Warden.

Upon further investigation a 17year old juvenile was subsequently arrested and charged with Domestic Violence and underage consumption and transported to the Central Ohio Youth Center.

The caller advised dispatch that there was a bicycle lying on the path with no one around. Contact was made with the bike owner and everything was determined to be okay.

9/20/2014	8:30 AM	Recovered/Found Property	Gay St.	On the stated date and time, an officer was flagged down at the listed location by a resident who advised someone left a bike at the location for several weeks. The officer recovered the bike and opened a abandoned property case.
9/20/2014	12:30 PM	Recovered/Found Property	Maple St.	On the stated and time, an officer met with a citizen at the police department in reference to found wallet. The property is being held until an owner can be identified. Photos from 2011 with the name Skylar are inside the wallet.
9/20/2014	8:27 PM	Assist Other Agency	Smith-Calhoun Rd.	On the stated date and time officers were requested by the Madison County Sherriff’s Office to the area of Smith-Calhoun Rd. and Amity Pike in reference to a possible aircraft crash. Upon  arrival officers assisted station 261 in searching for the aircraft until it was determined the crash was a Chinese lantern that burst into flames.
9/20/2014	9:11 PM	Recovered/Found Property	Village Blvd.	On the stated date and time an officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a found wallet. The owner of the wallet was located and it was returned.
9/21/2014	12:41 AM	Drunk Driver	South Jefferson Ave.	On this date and time, an officer initiated a traffic stop at the listed location Upon further investigation. John W. Akers, 50yoa of London, Ohio was arrested and charged with Marked Lanes, Non-Compliance Suspension, Failure to Reinstate, OVI, OVI Refusal, Open Container, Possession of Marijuana, Marijuana Paraphernalia, Weapons While Intoxicated, and Improper Transportation of a Firearm. His vehicle was impounded and he was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
9/21/2014	11:51 AM	Theft - Felony	Park St.	On the listed date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to unauthorized credit card uses. A report was taken.
9/21/2014	12:32 PM	Suspicious Person	Jackson St.	On the listed date and time an officer responded to the area of 183 Jackson Street in reference to a suspicious person. The caller advised that a man had climbed a ladder and was "messing with" something on an electric pole inside the area that used to be the trailer park. Upon arrival contact was made with a subject who advised they did not have permission to be on the property. The pole in question is not a live utility pole and is not connected to anything. The property owner will be contacted to see if they wish to pursue the matter.
