Officer responded on a complaint of an abandoned vehicle. Contact was attempted with the vehicle owner but was unsuccessful. Kirby's Towing arrived on scene and towed the vehicle.

Officer responded on a report of a suspicious vehicle that drove through a yard, the evening prior, however, did not cause any damage. A vehicle description and license plate number was given and the vehicle was located. Contact was made with the vehicle owner, who advised it was accidental and he was given a warning for Driving Upon Sidewalks, Street Lawns and Curbs.

Officer responded on a vandalism complaint, of four tires that were slashed on a parked vehicle, by an unknown subject. The area was checked for cameras however, none were located. An incident report was taken.

Officer observed a vehicle parked after hours and made contact with the occupant. The occupant was advised he couldn't be there after hours.

Officer responded on a report of a found credit card, took possession of the card. Contact was made with the owner, who later came to the police department and retrieved it.

Drugs - Other

South Jefferson Ave.

Officers arrested Joshua Hostetler, 33, of Plain City, on multiple outstanding arrest warrants. During the arrest, Joshua admitted to having drugs in the vehicle. During a probable cause search of the vehicle, officers located two clear baggies with a substance inside. Additional charges are possible, pending lab analysis. Joshua was transported to Tri-County Regional Jail.
