Officer responded on a complaint of telecommunication harassment. The caller reported, a known subject, repeatedly kept calling her. The officer made contact with the subject and advised to stop all communication.

A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle with a suspended driver. Subsequently, Deborah Faires, 32, of Delaware, was issued traffic citations for No Valid OL and OVI Suspension. The vehicle was towed to the PD Impound Lot.

US Rt. 42 N

Officers were requested to assist the Union County Sheriff's Office on US 42N for a K9 Assist. K9 Andor completed an open air sniff of the vehicle and gave a positive alert for narcotics.

Officer heard an alarm coming from the listed location, which is currently vacant.  Upon closer inspection, the officer found a smoke detector in a dumpster located in the driveway. The battery was removed.

Officers were requested to assist the Ohio State Highway Patrol on I-70 for a K9 Assist. K9 Andor completed an open air sniff of the vehicle and gave a positive alert for narcotics.

Drugs - Other

North Chillicothe St.

Officers responded on a well-being check of an individual sitting in a vehicle for some time. Contact was made with the only occupant, during that time, officers observed drug paraphernalia and a white powder laying on the center console. A probable cause search was conducted and several items were seized. Initially the subject, provided a false identity to officers. Subsequently, Joshua Hostetler, 33, of Plain City, was charged with Drug Paraphernalia, Marijuana Paraphernalia and Falsification. Additional charges pending results of a lab analysis.

Officer responded on a complaint of harassing phone calls being received by a known subject. The caller advised, she did not want any contact with the subject. Officer contacted the subject and advised she needed to stop all communication with the reporting party.

Officer responded on a complaint of telecommunication harassment. The caller advised, a known subject, was making threatening comments over the phone. Officer advised to not have any communication with the caller and to call the police, if the issue continued.
