Officer found a door unsecure, checked the building and nothing was out of the ordinary. A note was left and the door was secured.

Officer found a door open, checked the interior of the business and nothing was out of the ordinary. The door was closed but could not be secured.

Traffic Stop

East Main St.

Officer initiated a traffic stop and subsequently requested a K9 Unit, who arrived a short time later. K9 Andor gave a positive alert. No contraband was located, but the occupant advised that there had been medical marijuana in the vehicle recently and she has a medical marijuana card.

Suspicious Circumstances

North Ave.

Officer responded to a parking complaint and the vehicle was moved a short time later.

Protection Order Violation

South Chillicothe St.

During a traffic stop, Officers arrested Dirk Speakman, 45, of Plain City for a protection order violation. He was also charged with possession of marijuana, marijuana paraphernalia and one headlight and was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.

Vehicle Fire

Village Blvd.

Officers were dispatched to a vehicle fire.  Upon arrival, officers confirmed the vehicle was empty and stood by until PVFD arrived on scene and extinguished the fire without further incident. After determining everything to be fine, both units returned to patrol.

Assist Other Agency

Officer was requested by the Madison County Sheriff's Office to assist on an alarm drop. Once the officers assistance was no longer needed, he returned to patrol.

Domestic Dispute

South Chillicothe St.

Officers were dispatched to a possible domestic dispute. Parties agreed to separate for the evening. Once everyone was calm, officers returned to patrol.
