Upon arrival, the officer observed the tree was split in two, one large section was blocking the alley behind the residence and part had fallen partially onto a 2020 Honda Fit and damaged several pieces of patio furniture. The Plain City Public Works department arrived on scene and placed cones out around the tree until it could be cut up and removed. The neighbors were advised to exchange information due to the damage caused. | |

26-Oct-21 | 12:48:00 AM | Marijuana | Church St. | Officers observed a gray 2010 Subaru Impreza traveling eastbound on East Main Street at Shepper Ave. Officer initiated a traffic stop for the violation and made contact with the driver and passenger. It was learned the driver only had a drivers permit and not a valid driver’s license. Officer could smell the odor of raw marijuana. After probable cause search, officers found a small glass jar containing marijuana, a metal marijuana pipe, small glass jar with marijuana cigarette butts, a marijuana edible. Avocado Cannabis extract with residue inside and a glass marijuana pipe that the passenger took ownership of. The passenger was issued a summons for Possession of Marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The driver was issued a citation for no valid driver’s license and warned for the equipment violation. A valid driver arrived and drove both parties home. | |
