Officer was dispatched to the area of US 42 near Alcott in reference to a semi-trailer driving compliant. Officer made contact with the driver who showed no signs of impairment or distress and advised he was not swerving. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer responded to the area of US 42 and North Chillicothe Street in reference to a driving complaint. Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with its driver, Leslie Randall. Officer learned that Leslie was currently under a 12 point BMV suspension. Leslie was given a warning for marked lanes and subsequently issued a citation for a BMV 12 Point Suspension and Operating a Motor Vehicle without a Valid License. Officer transported Leslie to McDonalds where she stood by for a ride. Her vehicle was towed to the Plain City Impound Lot. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a non-injury hit-skip crash. Upon reviewing the video from McDonald’s, Officer found there was no coverage of the north parking lot and that the possible suspect vehicle did not pass a camera upon leaving. Officer contacted complainant to advise her of this information.

Upon arrival, Officer met with the manager who advised that she did not want subject to come back to the store and requested that an Officer advise subject of such. Officer made contact with subject and subject that if he goes back, he could be charged for Criminal Trespass. Subject stated that he feels the same about the business and understood. Officer also made contact with Dollar General and advised them that subject had been advised.

Upon arrival, subject advised she was attempting to contact the police because she wanted an Officer to stand-by when her sister got there to pick her up. Officer advised subject to contact dispatch a few minutes prior to her sister’s arrival and Officer would come back out. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer conducted a routine registration check on silver Nissan. Officer learned that the registration returned to a Chevrolet pickup. Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the driver, Donna Radcliff. Donna was subsequently issued a citation for Fictitious Tags-Belongs to Another Vehicle (ORC 4549.08A3) and released. Donna’s vehicle was towed to the Plain City Impound Lot.

Dispatch advised a male crashed his vehicle into a parked car, took off on foot and was being detained by several witnesses. Upon arrival, Officer located Melvin Oller Jr. on the ground near 281 East Main Street. Melvin was cited for OVI, Failure to Control, Obstructing Official Business and Hit-Skip.

Upon arrival, Officer met with the owner who stated caller was extremely intoxicated and causing a scene at the establishment, so he kicked him out. Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a possible assault/domestic violence incident. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with a subject who identified himself as Christopher Ford. An additional Officer arrived on scene and advised the subject’s name was actually, Gregory Ford. It was then found Gregory had a Felony Warrant out of the Union County Sheriff’s Office for Absconding. Gregory was placed into custody for the warrant and for Obstructing Official Business. Officer transported Gregory to the Tri County Jail and booked him in for his Warrant and Obstructing Official Business. Officer was able to make contact with the suspect, Samuel Ford, and observed blood on Samuel’s hands and clothing. Samuel was placed into custody by Officer. Samuel was transported to the Tri-County Jail and booked in for Domestic Violence. See case/ Media for further.

Officer was dispatched in reference to a wallet that had been found on West Main St. Upon arrival, Officer took custody of the wallet. Shortly after, Officer attempted to make contact with the owner but was unsuccessful. Officer then returned to patrol. At 1430 Hrs owner of the wallet arrived at the police department and his wallet was returned.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a noise complaint. On arrival, Officer observed numerous workers on the second floor roof and a sizable amplifier speaker playing music that was extremely loud. Officer unplugged the amplifier in order to talk with the workers. Officer then attempted to communicate to the workers that the music was too loud and needed to be turned down. Officer advised them that when they were off the roof to turn down the volume if they were going to power the speaker up. Officer then returned to patrol.
