8/26/2018	1:11 AM	Animal Complaint - Other	Converse Ave.	Officers were at the listed location reference an unrelated call when complainant advised she had located a canine and was unsure who it belonged to. Officers located canine owner who was given a warning for Dogs at Large. Officers then returned to patrol.
8/26/2018	3:22 PM	Civil Dispute/Standby	John St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a civil standby. Once subject departed the residence, Officer returned to patrol.
8/26/2018	7:39 PM	Obstruction of Official Business	West Ave.	Officer conducted a routine registration check on a grey Ford SUV.  Officer made contact with the driver, James Spafford and the front seat passenger, who advised he was Nathan Cooper.  Upon further investigation, when checking Mr. Cooper’s information, Officer asked him again what his name was, to which he replied, Jason Miller. Furthermore, it was learned that Mr. Miller had two entered warrants out of Columbus Police Department for Theft offenses. Jason Miller was subsequently charged with Obstructing Official Business (ORC 2921.31A) and was taken to Tri-County Regional Jail. Mr. Spafford was issued a citation for Fictitious Tags (ORC 4549.08A3.) The vehicle was towed from the scene and taken to Plain City Police Impound Lot. See case for further.
8/26/2018	9:41 PM	Suspicious Vehicle	Alderwood Cir.	Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, Officer checked the area but was unable to locate the vehicle. Officer then returned to patrol.
8/26/2018	9:48 PM	Runaway Juvenile	Nappa Alley	Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a runaway juvenile. All officers checked the area but were unable to locate the juvenile.  Officers then returned to patrol. Charges pending.
8/26/2018	10:21 PM	911 Follow-up	Plumwood Ct.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a 911 follow-up. After determining everything to be fine, Officer then returned to patrol.
8/26/2018	12:45 AM	Trespasser	Converse Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a trespass complaint. After speaking with complainant she agreed to wake subject up and transport him back to his residence.  Officer then followed complainant and subject to that residence. After determining everything to be fine, Officer then returned to patrol.
8/27/2018	2:18 PM	Assist Other Agency	US Rt. 42 S	Officer responded to the area of US 42 south of Alcott Drive at the request of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, in reference to a disabled semi. Once the semi was on its way and Officer’s assistance was no longer needed, Officer returned to patrol.
8/27/2018	6:46 PM	Well-being Check	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer was met at the Police Department by the complaint.  Complainant stated that he was concerned that his ex wife was going to have their daughter receive a dental check at the listed location. Complainant stated that per their custody agreement all medical locations must be agreed upon by both parents. Upon entering the business Officer observed that complainant’s daughter was playing in the children’s area of the business with supervision. The business owner/dentist assured Officer that there had not been and would not be any procedure done. Officer then made contact with complainant via public service and advised him of the above information. Once assistance was no longer necessary, Officer returned to patrol. 8/27/2018	6:18 PM	Non-Injury Crash	South Chillicothe St.	Officer responded to the area of S. Chillicothe Street and Fairfield Drive in reference to a possible injury crash. Upon arrival, Officer learned that there were no injuries.  Officer made contact with Aaron Knox. Aaron was subsequently issued a citation for ACDA and his vehicle was towed from the scene. Once assistance was no longer needed, Officer returned to patrol.
8/27/2018	3:44 PM	Driving Complaint	South Chillicothe St.	Officer was dispatched to a driving complaint on the lot of the listed location. The anonymous complainant advised that the driver of a beige Buick appeared to be falling asleep behind the wheel and might be impaired. Officer later met with the vehicle owner at her residence. Officer did not see or detect any signs of impairment.  Upon determining everything to be okay, Officer returned to patrol.	Plain City Elementary School
8/27/2018	2:50 PM	Road Hazard	US Rt. 42 N	Officer was dispatched to the area of US Rt. 42 N just south of North Chillicothe Street in reference to a metal bookshelf lying in the northbound lane. Upon arrival, Officer moved the shelf off the road and placed it on the grass on the east side of the road. Officer then returned to patrol.
8/27/2018	11:55 AM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	West Main St.	Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a suspicious vehicle that had been in the area approximately 10 minutes earlier. Upon arrival, Officer met with the caller, an employee at the diner. The subjects left in the truck immediately after seeing complainant. Complainant advised that she would call back if she saw the vehicle again and also requested extra patrol of the area. Officers patrolled the area but did not locate the vehicle.	Jim's Diner
8/27/2018	9:30 AM	Suspicious Vehicle	John St.	On this date and time, an anonymous resident on John Street reported a possible suspicious vehicle/person in which a white male in a white SUV was driving slowly on the road and taking pictures. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with the male who was an employee for a surveying company who was doing an appraisal for a home refinance. After determining everything to be fine, Officer returned to patrol.
8/27/2018	3:07 PM	911 Unknown	Fanshell Dr.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a 911 Unknown. Upon determining everything to be okay, Officer returned to patrol.
8/28/2018	9:07 PM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	Red Knot Ct.	Officer was dispatched to the area of Red Knot Court in reference to suspicious vehicle.  Officer then proceed to Red Knot Circle, where Officer located the vehicle silver Scion XB parked near a residence. The vehicle in question belongs to an employee of the construction crews that work on the subdivision. Upon determining everything to be okay, Officer returned to patrol.
8/28/2018	9:48 PM	Assist Other Agency	West Ave.	On the listed date and time, Union County Sheriff's Deputy and Officer were dispatched to the area of US Rt. 42N in reference to a light blue Saturn that was reported traveling left of center numerous times. Once assistance was no longer needed, Officer then returned to patrol.
8/28/2018	8:57 AM	Assist Other Agency	West Main St.	Officer responded to the listed address as backup for Deputy of the Union County Sheriff's Office who had a vehicle stopped and the driver had an entered warrant for his arrest. 8/28/2018	2:34 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	Friend St.	Officer met with complainant at the police department. Complainant explained that the IRS was on the phone and they wanted her to purchase $6,000 in gift cards or there would be a warrant for her arrest. Officer advised her to hang up the phone and that it was a scam. Complainant was advised not to answer any phone numbers that she doesn’t recognize and also to file a complaint with the Attorney General’s Office and the FCC.	Plain City Police Department
8/28/2018	4:16 PM	Assist Other Agency	US Rt. 42 S	Officer was requested by Trooper Ohio State Highway Patrol (West Jefferson Post) to meet at Jonathan Alder High School. Once assistance was no longer needed, Officer then returned to patrol.	Jonathan Alder High School
8/28/2018	6:55 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	Nappa Alley	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a possible theft. Upon arrival, Officer met with the caller. Officer advised caller, it is not theft it is non-payment.  Officer then returned to patrol.
8/29/2018	1:40 PM	Abandoned Vehicle	East First Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to an abandoned vehicle. Upon my arrival I met with the caller and resident who advised that a green 1996 Chevy Blazer had been parked in his driveway for several days. Officer learned that the vehicle was registered to.  Officer located a telephone number and attempted to contact owner on 08/29 and 08/30. Officer left voice messages both dates but have not heard from owner.
8/29/2018	11:35 PM	Assist Other Agency	SR 736	Officer responded to the area of US 42 in reference to a driving complaint.  Once assistance was no longer needed, Officer returned to patrol.
8/30/2018	12:23 AM	Assist Other Agency	Currier Rd.	On the stated date and time, Officer was requested by the UCSO to respond to the listed location in reference to a medic assist. Upon arrival Medic 210 advised they did not need assistance. Officer then returned to patrol.
8/30/2018	12:55 AM	Traffic Stop	East Main St.	Officer conducted a routine registration check on a gold Toyota Camry traveling eastbound on East Main St near South Chillicothe St. Officer initiated traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the driver/owner, Kovin Mash. Kovin was issued a citation for OVI Suspension and No Valid OL. Kovin’s vehicle was towed to the Plain City Police Department Impound lot.   Kovin received a ride home from a valid driver.
8/30/2018	10:05 AM	Fire Support	Maple St.	Officer was dispatched to the area of Maple Street and West Bigelow Avenue in reference to a possible gas leak. Upon arrival, Officer met with the crew from Miller Pipeline who were working on a gas line buried beneath the street. They advised that they had just flushed an old gas line and that the gas was currently off. They checked the area and ensured there was no danger and Officer returned to patrol.
8/30/2018	8:48 PM	Non-Injury Crash	US Rt. 42 N	Officer observed a blue Chevy SUV at the intersection of US 42 and North Chillicothe St with its hazard lights activated.  Officer made contact with the vehicle driver who advised struck a deer head on causing damage to the front end of her vehicle. The vehicle was towed from the scene by and she was given a ride home by her husband.
8/30/2018	9:47 PM	Assist Other Agency	US Rt. 42 N	Officer was requested by the UCSO to respond to the listed location in reference to a narcotic sniff of a vehicle.  After assistance was no longer needed, Officer returned to patrol.	Village Mart (Marathon)
8/31/2018	4:07 PM	Warrant - Misdemeanor	West Main St.	Officer conducted a routine registration check on a red Dodge Dakota.  Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the vehicle operator, Gabriel McCall. Gabriel advised me his driver’s license was suspended. After further investigation it was found Gabriel had confirmed warrants out of the Champaign County Sheriff’s Office for Unauthorized Use and the Clark County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a traffic offense. Gabriel was placed in custody and transported to Tri-County Regional Jail where he was booked in on the above warrants. Gabriel was issued a traffic citation for No Valid OL, Driving Under an ALS Suspension, and Instate Drug Suspension. Gabriel’s vehicle was towed to the PCPD Impound lot.
8/31/2018	7:19 PM	Assist Other Agency	Smith-Calhoun Rd.	Officers responded to the listed location in reference to an assist for the Madison County Sheriff’s Office for a domestic dispute. After assistance was no longer needed, Officer returned to patrol.
8/31/2018	5:39 PM	911 Unknown	West Main St.	Officer was dispatched to the area of West Main Street and Foster Avenue in reference to a 911 unknown. Officer checked the area and did not locate anyone in distress. Officer then returned to patrol.
8/31/2018	3:47 AM	Warrant - Misdemeanor	Lafayette-Plain City Rd.	Officer conducted a routine registration check on a white Pontiac G6 at the listed location. Officer then learned an employee, Markeya Toudle, had an entered (confirmed) warrant out of Westerville Police Department for Failure to Appear on a Traffic offense. Ms. Toudle was then placed into custody. Officer then transported Ms. Toudle to Get-Go gas station where Westerville Police Department met to transport to jail. Officer then returned to patrol. 8/31/2018	6:05 PM	Civil Dispute/Standby	Friend St.	Officer was dispatched to the police department in reference to a custody exchange. Officer stood by while the child walked from Mom's car to grandpa's vehicle and got in. Upon determining everything to be okay, Officer returned to patrol.	Plain City Police Department
9/1/2018	7:44 PM	Traffic Stop	West Main St.	Officers conducted a routine registration check on a white Chevy Malibu. Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle at listed location. Subject was given a warning for the Expired Tags. Officers then returned to patrol.	Lil e's Ice Cream
9/1/2018	2:55 AM	DOC	North Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to an unconscious male. Isaac Davis was then transported to Riverside Hospital by Medic 261.  On 9-2-2018 Isaac was cited for Disorderly Conduct and advised of his court date.	Darby Apartments
9/1/2018	10:10 AM	Loud Noise/Disturbance	North Ave.	Officer received a call from complainant who advised subject was outside his residence being loud and screaming rap music. Subject was warned to keep it down and to stop using profanity while singing. Officer advised complainant of findings and that subject was advised to keep it down. Complainant thanked Officer for handling the issue. Officer then returned to patrol.
9/1/2018	10:28 AM	Unruly	Dickens Ln.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to an unruly juvenile complaint. Officer advised the juvenile of the possible consequences of being unruly and that he needed to follow the rules set for from his mother. Officer then spoke with mother. Officer advised the proper steps to take if she later wishes to pursue with unruly charges. She advised she understood and would call if they have anymore issues. Officer then returned to patrol.
9/1/2018	11:02 AM	Stalking	East Main St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location to meet with complainant in reference to a possible stalking harassment complaint. Upon arrival, Officer met with caller outside her residence who demanded Officer issue a restraining order on subject for stalking her. Officer advised complainant that if she wishes to file for a protection order she would need to go to the Madison County Municipal Court and file for one. Officer then returned to patrol.
9/1/2018	3:02 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	East Main St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a possible misuse of credit card complaint. Upon arrival, Officer met with the caller who advised she received a text advising her that subject has been using her credit card to purchase things. Complainant advised she has not verified this with her bank yet, but has cancelled the card already. Complainant advised she will check with her bank on Tuesday and contact the Police Department if she finds anything.
9/1/2018	6:24 PM	Assist Other Agency	US Rt. 33	Officer was requested by the State Highway Patrol Post 80 in reference to a narcotic search of a vehicle involved in a traffic stop on US 33 near Mile Post 12. After assistance was no longer needed, Officer returned to patrol.
