Officer was dispatched to the listed location to assist with a lock out. Upon arrival Officer met with the crew of MedCare Ambulance Service. They advised that they were returning the resident and that she was locked out of her apartment. Officer was able to gain entry.

Complainant came to the police department in reference to telecommunication harassment. She advised a male individual unknown to her had been messaging her on Facebook and does not want him to make any further contact with her. Officer advised the complainant to block him on all social media, and to contact the Police Department if the issue continues.

Driving Complaint
US Rt. 42 S
Officer was dispatched to the listed area in reference to a driving complaint. The complainant advised that a red Ford Ranger was all over the roadway and possibly struck a mailbox. Officer located a vehicle matching that description and made contact with vehicle owner. She confirmed she had come the direction of the complaint. She apologized and stated that she always drives really slow. Officer noted she was not impaired and checked the vehicle for any signs of damage, which there was none. Officer determined everything to be fine.

Officer was contacted by phone at the Police Department by an employee in reference to a gas drive off. He advised a white older vehicle with a different colored roof had pumped $24.75 in gas a driven off without paying. The driver was contacted and it was later confirmed that the driver had returned to the store and paid for the gas.

Officer met with Roby Wholaver at the Police Department in reference to a theft complaint that occurred at the listed location. He advised, while he was at work yesterday he noticed that there was one $100 bill that was missing from his wallet. Investigation pending.

Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a criminal damaging complaint. Upon arrival Officer made contact with the victim. He stated that someone had cut the wire to his Christmas lights. He stated that he wanted the incident documented in case of related incidents. He thanked the Officer for his time.

Officer was requested by the Union County Sheriff’s Office to assist with a traffic crash that occurred on listed road due to their units being tied up on a priority call. Upon arrival the accident was investigated and the information was forwarded to Union County Sheriff’s Office for processing.

Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a drug complaint. The caller stated that he observed a male subject passed out in a white Toyota Corolla with a needle on his lap.  Upon arrival Officer checked the area but was unable to find the vehicle.

Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a telecommunication harassment complaint. Upon arrival made contact with the caller. She stated that she had received several text messages from her estranged husband that she felt were threatening in nature. She requested Officer make contact with the husband and advise him to stop contacting her. Officer made contact with him via public service. He agreed to have no further contact with caller. Investigation pending.

Officer met with the complainant at the police department in reference to a noise complaint. He stated that his neighbor's music was up loud again and he wanted him to turn it down. Upon arrival, Officer could only hear the music in the driveway with the vehicle windows down. Officer met with the resident and advised him of the complaint. He stated that he would keep it at a decent level the rest of the night. Officer determined everything to be fine.

Officer was dispatched to the intersection listed in reference to a juvenile complaint. The complainant stated that there was a male and two females walking eastbound in the middle of the road. Officer patrolled the area, but was unable to locate anyone walking. Officer determined everything to be fine.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location on a well-being check of a suspicious vehicle with two people sleeping or passed out inside. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with the passenger, Brittany Boneta, who was later issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Officers was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a 911 follow-up. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with the resident. She advised that the number was her husband's phone and he left prior to arrival to get their dinner. There were no signs of distress. Officer determined everything to be fine.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a dispute. Upon arrival Officer made contact with the caller. He stated he and his nephew came to an agreement to exchange video game consoles. The caller advised the nephew’s parents now changed their mind and wanted their Playstation back.   After speaking with all parties, everyone agreed to give back the video game consoles. Officer then spoke with the nephew about his actions and advised him to use better judgment. Officer determined everything to be fine.

Officers responded to the listed location in reference to found property. Officers arrived on scene and were given a wallet. Officers then contacted the property and advised her of the found property. She later recovered the wallet at the police department.

Ohio State Patrol Post 80 requested to use the BAC Datamaster at the Police Department. Officer witnessed the Trooper and his arrestee.  The arrestee refused to give a breath sample and was later picked him up at the police department.

Officers was dispatched to the listed area in reference to a possible domestic violence incident in a vehicle. Upon arrival Officer learned the driver and passenger had just picked up the passenger's mother, who had been recently diagnosed with dementia. While enroute the mother became confused, thought she was being kidnapped by unknown individuals and called 911. After speaking with the mother, she calmed down and agreed to go with the driver and passenger. Officers determined everything to be fine.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a theft. Upon arrival Officer met with the Superintendent. He advised that an unknown person(s) removed a stainless steel refrigerator. Officer spoke with residents in the area and no one recalled seeing anything.

Domestic Violence - Misdemeanor

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to an unruly juvenile. Upon arrival, Officer met with the residents. After speaking with them, Officer learned they had been in several verbal arguments.  After further investigation, the juvenile and Joann Myers were both arrested for Domestic Violence.  Joann Myers was also charged with Child Endangering.
