Dispatch advised that MCSO was looking for a stolen vehicle and it was last seen headed northbound on Plain City-Georgesville Rd. The vehicle was not located.

The caller, advised that they heard what sounded like a single gunshot somewhere in the area of Central Avenue. Upon arrival the officer patrolled the area but was unable to locate anything out of the ordinary.
2/24/2014	7:30 AM	Domestic Dispute	Fairfield Dr.	On the above date and time, an officer received a phone call at the Police Department in regards to a domestic dispute that had occurred earlier in day.
2/24/2014	5:15 PM	Theft - Misdemeanor	South Jefferson Ave.	On this date and time, an officer met with a party at the Police Department in regards to a theft of an item out of their vehicle. A report was taken.
2/25/2014	3:15 PM	Non-Injury Crash	West Main St.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a non-injury crash. Upon further investigation Amy B. Ernst, 43yoa of Plain City was cited for Assured Clear Distance Ahead. A crash report was completed.

2/28/2014	1:37 AM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle/Medical Emergency	South Jefferson Ave.	On the stated date and time, while on routine patrol, an officer observed an officer observed a suspicious vehicle in a closed business lot. Upon further investigation he discovered a female in the floor of the vehicle having a medical episode. The medics were called and the party was transported to the hospital.

3/1/2014	2:54 AM	Traffic Stop	South Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time, an officer observed a vehicle driving erratically at the listed location. Upon further investigation it was discovered the driver had medical issues and was disoriented.  A ride was called for the driver and a recertification request was sent to the BMV.

A spouse advised that his wife was threatening to commit suicide by using a handgun. The party was no longer at the residence and was located in another jurisdiction later.

Dispatch advised that an anonymous caller stated that a black SUV was driving all over the roadway on SR 161 from Dublin. The officer located the vehicle and initiated a stop. The driver had been consuming an alcoholic beverage, but successfully completed the Field Stability Test's. Another driver was summoned to the scene and the party was released.

3/7/2014	11:51 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	Jackson St.	On the stated date and time, while on routine patrol, an officer could smell a strong odor of natural gas coming from the area of the listed location. The officer advised dispatch to have Engine 261 respond to the scene.

3/9/2014	6:13 PM	Drunk Driver	South Jefferson Ave.	On the stated date and time, an officer initiated a traffic stop at the listed location.  Upon further investigation Gerald O. Lovett, 53yoa of Xenia, Ohio was subsequently arrested and charged with OVI, Speed, Driving Under Suspension and Open Container . He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.  A passenger Scott B. McCracken, 46yoa of Xenia, Ohio was also issued a summons for Open Container and released.
