Upon the officers arrival they were unable to locate the vehicle.

1/1/2013	12:19 AM	Fireworks	North Ave.	On the listed date and time, an officer responded to the listed area in reference to a fireworks complaint. Upon arrival to the area the officer was unable to locate the source of the complaint and did not hear any fireworks going off.
1/1/2013	1:02 AM	Drunk	North Ave.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a suspicious person. The anonymous complainant advised dispatch that there was a subject who was having trouble walking and two people were trying to help them. Upon arrival the officer could not locate anyone in the area having difficulty but made contact with two people who advised they had just assisted their intoxicated family member into the residence.

On the above date and time officers responded to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute at the request of the Union County Sheriff's Office. Upon arrival it was determined that no violence or threats had been made and that one of the parties was leaving the residence.
1/1/2013	2:45 AM	Non-Injury Crash/Private Property	Friend St.	On the listed date and time, a vehicle proceeded to turn around in the police department parking lot and while doing so backed into the front end of the Police Department's Toyota Scion, damaging the right front headlight and hood. Insurance information was obtained and a report was taken.
1/1/2013	3:47 AM	Drunk Driver	North Chillicothe St.	On the listed date and time, an officer initiated a traffic stop on N. Chillicothe Street for a moving violation. Andrew D Hunter, 32yoa of Plain City was subsequently arrested and charged with OVI and Super concentration..
1/1/2013	7:00 AM	Loud Noise/Disturbance	West Main St.	On this date and time, an officer responded to the listed location on the report of a noise complaint. The anonymous complainant advised that the residents there have been up all night partying and that they had been outside being loud. Contact was made with the residents and they were given warnings for their actions.

Upon arrival it was discovered some household items were broken, but the second half of the dispute had already left. The remaining party advised that there were no threats of physical violence, nor were there any signs of a physical injury.
1/2/2013	1:21 AM	Drunk Driver	South Chillicothe St.	On the listed date and time, an officer initiated a traffic stop on South Chillicothe Street on a vehicle for a moving violation. The driver Russell M. Carter 31yoa of Columbus, Ohio was subsequently arrested and charged with OVI, Speed, Failure to Reinstate, No Operators License and Driving under a License Forfeiture Suspension.

1/2/2013	8:50 AM	Parking Complaint	North Chillicothe St.	On this date and time, an officer responded to the listed location on a parking complaint. The complainant advised that a vehicle was parked right in the middle of the parking lot, which would prevent their patients from being able to park. Upon the officers arrival, the vehicle had already been moved.
1/2/2013	8:54 AM	Parking Complaint	East First Ave.	On this date and time, an officer observed a white Chevy minivan parked across the sidewalk in front of the listed location. Contact was made and the party was advised to move the vehicle and a warning was given for the infraction.
1/2/2013	9:00 AM	Parking Complaint	South Chillicothe St.	On this date and time, while on routine patrol, an officer observed a tan Ford Focus parked in the roadway near the listed address. The vehicle was not parked parallel to the curb and was sticking out into the traffic lane. Contact was made with the resident and the vehicle was moved.

1/2/2013	3:29 PM	Trespasser	Carriage Dr.	On the above date and time,  an officer received a phone call from a resident who made a complaint against a person who was not welcome at their premises any longer. They advised they had allowed an adult male to shovel their driveway and the male returned wanting money in advance for the next snowfall. Contact was made with the other party and they were advised not to return to the residence.
1/2/2013	8:40 PM	Criminal Damaging	Village Blvd.	On the listed date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a criminal damaging incident. The reporting parting advised that their driver's side mirror appeared to be damaged and there appeared to be white paint on their car door. The reporting party also advised that  they were accosted in the store by an acquaintance. After checking the vehicle it was discovered that the mirror was not damaged and that there was not paint on the vehicle. The store manager witnessed the actions of the other party and requested the officer to make contact with the other individual and advise them they were no longer welcome at the location. Contact was made and a notice was given to the second party not to return to the location.

On the listed date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to an unknown person knocking on the front door at approximately 3:00am the previous morning.  The caller was encouraged to call immediately if something like this happened again in the future.

12/21/2012	5:46 PM	Non-Injury Crash	US Rt. 42 N	On the listed date and time and officer responded to the intersection on US42N and North Chillicothe Street in reference to vehicle that slid off into the ditch. Upon arrival the officer found a silver Chrysler 300 in the ditch on the south side of North Chillicothe Street. It was discovered that no damage had occurred and a tow truck was summonsed to remove the vehicle from the ditch.
12/21/2012	11:48 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	Village Blvd.	On the stated date and time and officer responded to the listed location on the report of loose and aggressive dogs. Jeffrey R. Layman II, 18 yoa of Plain City was issued a citation for failure to confine canines.
12/22/2012	4:31 PM	Harassment/Menacing	Gay St.	On the listed date and time an officer received a call in reference to harassment/ menacing that was occurring. It was discovered that the menacing did not occur in Plain City and another agency was investigating report.

12/23/2012	8:00 PM	Loud Noise/Disturbance	North Ave.	On the stated date and time officers responded to the listed location in reference to a possible domestic dispute. The complainant, who wished to remain anonymous, stated that there was a lot of yelling coming from inside the apartment. Upon arrival it was discovered that an intoxicated male was upset while attempting to complete a home-repair and was yelling.  The male was warned for his actions and he was left in the care of his spouse.
12/23/2012	11:09 PM	Suspicious Person	West Main St.	On the listed date and time while on patrol an officer observed a person dressed in all black with a black hood pulled up walk south bound on Smith Place and then west bound on West Main Street. The person was walking very slow and appeared to be shuffling. The officer made contact and determined that everything was okay.
12/24/2012	7:46 AM	Loud Noise/Disturbance	Madison Ave.	On the above date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a complaint of loud noises that sounded like gun shots. Upon arrival the officer spoke with the caller who advised that while they were in their garage they heard what sounded to be five gun shots from somewhere in the neighborhood. The officer patrolled the area thoroughly, but was not able to locate the source of the noise.
12/24/2012	4:58 PM	Alarm Drop	West Main St.	On the stated date and time officers responded to the listed location in reference to an alarm drop. Upon arrival, the officers found an open door and checked the residence and found nothing out of the ordinary.  Contact was made with the homeowner to advise of the situation.
12/24/2012	6:59 PM	Open Door	Cooper Ln.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to an open garage door. The homeowner, called and advised that her neighbor had called her about the door being open. The homeowner requested that an officer check the residence and secure the door. The officer checked the interior of the residence and found nothing to be out of the ordinary and secured the door.
12/24/2012	10:30 PM	Suspicious Circumstances	Smucker Ln.	On the above date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to noises coming from inside the apartment. A neighbor stated that no one was supposed to be at the residence and she could hear noises through the wall. Upon arrival the officer checked the residence and found it to be secure.
12/25/2012	12:36 PM	Stolen Vehicle	Maple St.	On the listed date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival an officer spoke with a daughter who advised that the vehicle was taken approximately 4-6 weeks ago from Sullivant Ave in Columbus, Ohio. An officer spoke with the vehicle owner (father) who did not wish to pursue the matter at this time because it was believed his son may have the vehicle. The father was advised that since the theft occurred in Columbus, Ohio he would need to contact them for a report if he wanted to pursue the issue.
12/25/2012	9:20 PM	Driving Complaint	State Route 161 East	On the above date and time an officer responded to 161 East in reference to a driving complaint. The officer made contact with the driver and determined everything was fine.
12/26/2012	9:24 AM	Driving Complaint	US Rt. 42 N	On the listed date and time an officer responded to US Route 42 in reference to a white minivan that was "swerving all over the road." The officer located the van northbound on US Route 42N near North Chillicothe Street and observed the vehicle following the vehicle in front of it very closely (heavy snow conditions). The officer initiated a traffic stop with the van and advised the driver, David Gibson, Jr., the reasons he was being stopped. The officer spoke with the caller who advised that the van had passed their vehicle and then began tailgating the vehicle in front of him. He also said that the van spun out and ended up in someone's front yard. He was able to drive away and was still in between the caller and the vehicle he was tailgating. The complainant advised that is when he reported the driving to police. Mr. Gibson was issued a citation for Following too Closely.  (Note: The roads were completely snow covered and the area was under a blizzard warning at the time of this incident.)
12/26/2012	6:57 PM	Driving Complaint	Washington Ave.	On the listed date and time and officer responded to the area of Washington Avenue in reference to a four-wheeler pulling a sled on the roadway. Upon arrival an officer  located the four-wheeler parked in the yard next to a residence on Church St.  The officer made contact with the listed person and advised him of the complaint and gave them a warning for their actions.
