2/10/2020 2:40 AM Fire Support Lewis Cir. On the stated date and time, Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a possible theft. Upon arrival, it was apparent caller was suffering from an anxiety attack.  Caller took her prescribed medication and began to calm down.  Medics arrived on scene, shortly thereafter.  Caller declined being transported to the hospital. Officers then returned to patrol.     Approved
2/11/2020 8:56 PM Juvenile South Chillicothe St. On the listed date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to an incident involving a juvenile threatening her son. Upon arrival, Officer met with the complainant who advised that her son was threatened by another juvenile.  Complainant advised that this does not sound like the subject's normal behavior.  Complainant advised the schools are aware and she just wanted to keep the police department in the loop. Officer advised complainant to contact PCPD if there are any further issues. Officer then returned to patrol.   Returned
2/11/2020 6:30 PM Animal Complaint - Other East Main St. On the listed date and time, Officer was dispatched to an inactive loose dog complaint at the listed location. Upon my arrival, Officer met with the caller who advised subject has been letting her dog wander around in caller's yard dragging a leash around. Caller advised she is afraid that her dog may try to hurt the subject's dog if it in her yard. Officer met with dog owners and advised them of the complaint.  Officer reminded them of the leash laws for Plain City.  Dog owners advised they understood and would keep the dog leashed when out for a walk. Officer advised dog owner to ensure they are holding the leash to keep it in control at all times.  Officer then returned to patrol.   Returned
2/11/2020 12:32 AM Domestic Dispute North Ave. On the stated date and time, Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with both parties.  Upon further investigation, it was learned subjects were in a verbal dispute.  Both parties apologized and advised everything was fine. Both parties were warned for Disorderly Conduct prior to returning to patrol.   Approved
2/12/2020 6:44 PM Theft - Attempted South Jefferson Ave. On the stated date and time, Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a scam complaint. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with the caller, an employee of Dollar General, who advised she received a call on the business phone from someone claiming to be a Fraud Inspection Agent. After further investigation, Officer advised employee that this was a scam call and there was no truth in what was said. Officer attempted to contact the number with no success. After deeming everything fine, Officer returned to patrol.   Dollar General Store Pending
2/12/2020 10:40 AM Animal Complaint - Other Carriage Dr. On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a cat that had fell into a swimming pool. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with the caller who was performing chest compressions on the cat in her front yard. Officer transported caller and the cat off at the Animal Hospital. I then returned to patrol.   Returned
2/12/2020 9:34 AM Bad Checks South Jefferson Ave. On the stated date and time, Officer arrived at the listed location in reference to a bad check complaint. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with complainant who stated that he received a notification from his bank that a check cashed by subject in the amount of 22,000 had posted to his account over the weekend. Complainant let the bank know he did not recognize the check and the funds were returned. Investigation is pending. Schrock's Auto/Ztech Transmission Returned

2/12/2020 2:59 AM Disabled Vehicle US Rt. 42 N  On the stated date and time while on patrol, Officer was flagged down by a red Kia in the area of US 42 and North Chillicothe Street. The passenger stated that his Uber driver passed his residence in Reynoldsburg by mistake while he was asleep. Subject requested Officer give Uber driver directions.  Uber driver stated subject was making her uncomfortable and that she did not wish to drive him any further. While talking with subject further, Officer observed a small bottle of alcohol sticking out of his jacket pocket.  Subject stated that he had nowhere to get rid of the bottle when he called for the Uber and did not want to litter. Officer disposed of the bottle and then made contact with subject's girlfriend via public service who agreed to pick up subject.  Due to the time and temperature, Officer transported subject to the GetGo gas station. Officer then returned to patrol.   Returned

2/6/2020 5:09 PM Miscellaneous - Unclassified Converse Ave. On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the listed location in reference to an unwanted guest. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with the reporting party who advised Officer that three people were inside of his house and he did not want them there. Officer checked caller's residence and found no one inside.  Caller denied being under the influence of anything. Officer advised caller it was safe for him to go back inside his house. Officer then returned to patrol.     Approved
2/6/2020 8:25 PM Domestic Dispute Converse Ave. On the stated date and time, Officers patrolled the Village in an attempt to locate a possible suicidal female.  After further investigation,  Officers learned that husband and wife were in a verbal dispute.  Officer made contact with wife who advised she had left the house to smoke and calm down.  Wife denied making any suicidal threats. After deeming everything fine, Officers returned to patrol.  Subject's children were in the house during the incident but it is believed that they did not witness the argument.  A copy of this report will be was faxed to UCDOJFS.     Approved
2/6/2020 10:10 PM Miscellaneous - Unclassified Converse Ave. On the stated date and time, Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to trespassers. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with caller who was stating there were several persons inside his residence. Upon further investigation, it was determined caller was hallucinating possibly due to drug abuse. Caller declined any medical attention. Officer returned to patrol.   Approved
2/6/2020 9:39 AM Behavioral Health Converse Ave. On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the listed location in response to a behavioral health incident. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with caller who stated that "the cleaners" in his house had stolen his brass Crucifix.  Caller also stated that the women was still inside the house.  Officer checked the home but located no one.   Caller then stated that he had not seen his Crucifix in at least two months. Caller advised that he would continue to try and search for it. Officer then returned to patrol.     Approved
2/7/2020 7:34 PM CIT Incident West Main St. On the stated date and time, Officer received a call on station from caller stating that her husband told her to contact the police department because he received a voicemail from subject that concerned him.  Officers made contact with subject in his garage. Subject was severely intoxicated and didn't remember making the phone call.  Subject denied wanting to harm himself and also didn't want to go see a counselor.  After deeming everything fine, Officers returned to patrol.   Approved
2/7/2020 1:34 AM Suspicious Circumstances West Main St. On the stated date and time, Officer observed a blue 2015 Cadillac parked at the listed location with the hazard lights on. The vehicle had heavy front end damage and appeared to have just been towed to the location. The vehicle was unlocked, and Officer was unable to turn the hazard lights off. Officer then checked the listed location, which was secure. After determining everything to be fine, Officer then returned to patrol. Taylor Autobody Approved
2/7/2020 7:13 PM Non-Injury Crash South Jefferson Ave. On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a non-injury crash that occurred in front of the stated location. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with juvenile driver who stated that he was driving a silver Honda Civic.  While attempting to make a left turn onto South Jefferson Avenue from the Dollar General parking lot, juvenile driver struck a black Chevy Silverado.  Juvenile was subsequently cited for Failure to Yield and Juvenile Traffic Offender.  Officer then returned to patrol. 2/8/2020 12:04 PM Assist Other Agency Lafayette-Plain City Rd. On the listed date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location at the request of Madison County Sheriff's Office for an activated alarm.  Once assistance was no longer needed, Officer returned to patrol. 2/8/2020 9:47 AM CIT Incident Lewis Cir. On the listed date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a conscious overdose. The caller admitted to dispatch to taking too much of her medication. Upon arrival with medics, Officer met with the caller and patient. Patient agreed to be transported to the hospital.  See CIT report for further information.   Approved
2/9/2020 11:39 PM Assist Other Agency Smith-Calhoun Rd. On the stated date and time, Officers responded to the listed location at the request of the Madison County Sheriff's Office, in reference to a mental status change. Once assistance was no longer necessary, Officer returned to patrol.   Pending
2/9/2020 2:54 AM Suspicious Vehicle South Jefferson Ave. On the stated date and time, Officer was on patrol when Officer observed a gray Chevy pickup parked at the listed location after hours. Officer made contact with the driver who advised that her vehicle was overheating and she needed to let her vehicle cool down prior to continuing home. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with caller who advised her son was being bullied by two classmates.  Caller did not want Officer to make contact with the subjects or their parents, but just wanted the incident documented.  Officer then returned to patrol.   Pending
