failure to pay. Upon arrival, Officer met with business owner. She advised
that a white Buick SUV and a female exited the vehicle and pumped gas. The
female and vehicle left a few minutes later with no payment records and no
transaction. After investigation, Officer made contact with the driver and
let her know her credit card payment for her fuel was not processed and she
needed to go speak with business owner about it. The business owner later
advised that the fuel was paid for in full without incident.

being check. Officer received a call at the police department, that there may
have been a domestic violence incident between a juvenile and his mother
earlier in the day. Upon arrival Officers spoke with the mother who advised
they had gotten into an altercation the night before. Officers then advised
the juvenile that he needed to obey his mother and not violate his probation.

driving complaint. Upon arrival, Officer located a blue Volvo stopped near
the construction barricade with its emergency flashers on. Officer was able
to get the vehicle to stop and made contact with the driver. Officer
requested Union County Sheriff's Office have a unit meet due to the
circumstances surrounding the incident. A short time later, the Deputy
arrived on the scene and the Officer's presence was no longer needed.

sometime earlier in the day someone had taken two of her grills from behind

an unknown male subject in a red truck take the grills earlier in the day
through his window. After speaking with the caller further Officer documented
the incident and returned to patrol.

caller. She stated that she had granted the subject permission to stay at the

that she later learned that he had been banned from the property adjacent to
the listed location and was concerned with him staying at the church. Officer
then made contact with the caller and the subject inside the listed location.
The caller stated that she had found another location for the subject to stay
at for the week. Once both individuals left the listed location Officers
returned to patrol.

advised that the juvenile was not home from school at this time. She stated
that she has been staying at the residence with the children and at no time
have they been left unattended.

locating the subject, but needed to leave due to a priority call in Plain

to a fight. Upon arrival, Officers met with residents and two passersby.
Officers learned that the male was walking his dog, when she jumped up and
scratched his lip. He smacked her on the nose to discipline her. After
further investigation, Officers advised the passerby, that witnessed the
discipline, she shouldn’t take matters in her own hands and to contact the
police department next time this happens. She was also given a warning for
Disorderly Conduct based on her actions during the altercation.

black Chevy Silverado. He advised that a pickup truck pulling a grain head
for a combine stopped at the stop sign, the truck backed up and struck his
truck causing damage to the hood. He described the truck as a red, possibly
Ford pulling a large John Deere grain head. Officer completed a crash report
that he could use to report to his insurance company.

that there had been a tent setup near the horse barn for a couple of days but

with the assistance of DNA. Officer called DNA and told her that no
registration or fees had been received. She advised that she would take care
of it today and apologized for the inconvenience.

Dispatch advised that a witness followed the suspect to where the suspect
entered a barn at the rear of the property. Officers went to the location and
made contact with the suspect, Anthony M. Hopkins. He eventually admitted to
stealing Dutch Master Cigarillos. Officer placed Anthony M. Hopkins under
arrest and transported him to the police department where he was issued a
summons for the theft.

take their children home. One juvenile was subsequently charged with Minor's
Curfew, Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Drugs. The second juvenile will
subsequently be charged with Curfew and Possession of Drugs.

go to Target and purchase a gift card. She disconnected the call and
contacted the Police at this time. Officer advised that this was a common
scam and that we had received numerous calls like this recently. She did not suffer
any monetary loss.

explained the ordinance to for future reference and he advised that he

Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a 911
unknown. Dispatch stated they received a 911 call mapping in the area of one
of the base ball fields. They were sent to voicemail on call back. Upon
arrival Officer checked the area but was unable to locate anything out of the
ordinary. Officer attempted to make contact with the caller via public
service but was also sent to voicemail.

missing juvenile. The caller stated that she was unable to locate her 11 year
old son. Upon arrival Officer checked the park but could not locate the
child. Officer was then met by the caller who had located her son.

While on routine patrol, Officer observed a red Chevrolet Blazer
parked on the sidewalk in front of the listed location. The entire vehicle
was facing northbound on the sidewalk, thus causing the sidewalk to be
unusable. Officer made contact with vehicle owner and advised her of the
incident. She apologized and the vehicle was moved.

the theft of a bicycle. Upon arrival Officer met with the property owner. He
advised that he parked his bike at the rear of the listed location. When he
returned it was gone. The property owner wanted the Police Department to be
aware of the theft in case his bike showed up.

Officer observed a male individual driving a Chevrolet Colorado
as he was exiting the listed location. Officer conducted a routine
registration check of his vehicle and learned that his registration had
expired. Officer initiated a traffic stop and advised him why his vehicle
stopped. The driver admitted that he knew the registration was expired. Jared
Minshall was issued a citation for Expired Tags and transported to his
residence.

suspicious circumstances. The caller advised that a man in white van had
placed a white plastic bag on her neighbors porch. Upon arrival Officer found
the bag on the porch and upon looking in it, discovered that it contained The
Yellow Pages.

County Sheriff’s Office in reference to an injury crash. Upon arrival with
station 210 Officer found one male subject who was pronounced deceased on the
scene. Officer then stood by until the arrival of Union County Sheriff's
Sergeant and assistance was no longer needed.

found property incident. Upon arrival Officer spoke with the caller who
stated that she witnessed a male ride a bike he had taken from her property
several months back. The caller advised she did not want to press charges
that she just wanted her bike back, the male gave her the bike with no
issues.

and turn its lights off. Officer made contact with the driver. He stated that
he just left a friend residence and wanted a cigarette, because he hadn't had
one in a while. He also doesn't like to smoke while driving. Officer
determined everything to be fine.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a
juvenile complaint. The complainant stated that he saw young juveniles
running around the listed location and thought that their parents were not
home. Upon arrival, with backup, Officers met with the juveniles' mother and
learned that her daughters were running back and forth between location the
mother and juveniles were moving from and location moving to. The mother
apologized and Officers determined everything to be fine.

Officer conducted a routine registration check on a Black Mazda
3, westbound on the listed street. Officer learned that the registered owner
was under suspension and initiated a traffic stop. Officer made contact with
the driver/owner, James Parson, and advised him why his vehicle was stopped.
James Parson was issued a citation for No Ohio License and a Non Compliance
Suspension.

stated he had found a wallet. Officer contacted Champaign County dispatch to

neighbor dispute. Upon arrival Officer made contact with the caller. She
stated that her neighbor was power washing her residence without her
permission and would like her to leave. Officer then made contact with the
suspect. She stated that she had received permission from the landlord to
power wash the residence but that she would stop and leave the property.

loud noise complaint. Upon arrival Officer met with a female individual who
was outside working on her car with loud music playing. Officer asked the
music be turned down and she went ahead and shut the music off for the night.
