Officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for running a stop sign and several moving violations. Contact was made with the driver, and a strong odor of alcohol was detected. Subsequently, Ryan McDermott, 46, of Plain City, was arrested and charged with OVI. He was also cited for Stop Sign, Failure to Signal and Reckless Driving. He refused to submit to a breath sample. He was released to a responsible party.
