The person advised that he had received harassing messages from his children's mother and only wanted contact to be civil. 08-Jan-22	6:23:00 PM	Well-being Check	Church St.	Officer was dispatched in reference to a well-being check. The caller reported her children, who were staying with their father, were sick and they were not getting medical attention. Officer made contact with the father and children and everything was fine.
08-Jan-22	5:06:00 PM	Assist Other Agency	US Rt. 42 N	Officers were requested to assist OSP on US 42 N near US 33 for a K9 assist, which the K9 alerted to the presence of narcotics. Once the officers assistance was no longer needed, they returned to patrol.

08-Jan-22	8:24:00 AM	Animal Complaint - Other	Gay St.	Officer was dispatched in regards to a loose canine and was able to captured the canine. Contact was made with the owner and the canine was returned. The owner was warned she could be cited for Dogs at Large.
08-Jan-22	2:23:00 AM	Assist Other Agency	Smith-Calhoun Rd.	Officer responded at the request of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, in reference to a possible burglary in progress. The officer and deputy checked the area and didn't find anything out of the ordinary. Once the officers assistance was no longer needed, he returned to patrol.
08-Jan-22	2:11:00 AM	Domestic Violence - Misdemeanor	West Bigelow Ave.	Officer responded in reference to a possible assault. The caller advised, her and her ex-boyfriend got into a verbal dispute and he purposely elbowed her in the face, causing a cut to her bottom lip, and then he left the area. Officer attempted to make contact with subject but was unsuccessful. Subsequently, a warrant for Domestic Violence was issued for Joshua Wintersteller.	Lee's Sports & Spirits
