Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a male smoking marijuana. Suspect admitted to smoking marijuana over an hour before Officer's arrival and was not impaired. Suspect then handed over a glass jar with marijuana. Officer then conducted a search of the vehicle, and Officer did not locate anything else illegal. Suspect was advised of the possible charges in the future, and the marijuana was seized.

Officer was on patrol when Officer conducted a routine registration check on a blue 2009 Acura SUV.   Officer learned the registration had been expired since 11-5-2018.  Officer then made contact with the driver, Macky Tourkara. Macky was advised of the violations and issued a citation for No Valid OL and Operating a Motor Vehicle with Registration of Previous Owner. The vehicle was towed to the PCPD Impound Lot. Macky was provided transport to the PCPD lobby to await a ride. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a non-injury hit-skip.  The listed parties advised they had a Fed Ex package delivered.  They advised that right after the package was delivered, they heard a loud noise and then observed their mailbox and a yard sign had been run over.  On 12-03-20, Fed Ex customer service reached out to the homeowner and advised they would pay for the matter civilly. They also advised Officer they did observe minor damage to the vehicle; however, photos were not sent.

Officers were dispatched to Converse Huff Rd and Nighthawk Dr on a found dog. Officers secured the dog in the kennel located at the Police Department. A picture of the lost dog was posted on the Plain City Police Department's social media.  Officers contacted the Madison County Dog Warden to have the dog picked up. Officers then returned to patrol.

Officers were dispatched to the listed location because witnesses could see people attempting to gain entry into an apartment through a ladder. Officers arrived on scene and met with the resident, who stated that she locked herself out.  Pleasant Valley Fire Department 261 arrived on scene and were able to gain entry into the residence. Once assistance was no longer necessary, Officers returned to patrol.

A short time later, James was released into his wife's custody. Officer then returned to parol.

Officer was contacted via phone by complainant, who advised that he was a victim of a scam call from earlier in the day.  Caller advised complainant his grandson was in jail.  Caller told complainant to box up $7500 cash, a toothbrush, and a towel and send it to to the listed location.  On 12/14, Officer spoke with complainant via phone. Complainant advised that he had gone to the FedEx store and picked up his package and the original contents were intact.  Officer cautioned complainant about this type of scam and to be wary of unsolicited phone calls asking for money.

Officer observed a silver Chevrolet Cruze traveling eastbound on East Main St near Old SR 161. The vehicle registration returned to Terry Stephens, a suspended driver.  Terry then fled the stop in his vehicle traveling at unsafe speeds and committing several traffic violations. Terry was later taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail and booked in for Failure to Comply, Resisting Arrest, and OVI Suspension.
