contact with the vehicle owner who resides in Columbus, Ohio and the owner
retrieved the vehicle via tow truck the next day. The vehicle owner was
warned for leaving junk / abandoned vehicles parked on the street.

Officers arrested Jacob Morrow on a warrant that was issued by
the Madison County Municipal Court for violating a protection order. Jacob
was found hiding in a bathroom at the residence. He was later transported to
the Tri-County Regional Jail.

Officers responded to location on the report of someone possibly
being inside the business even though the business was not yet open for the
day. The caller advised that they believed someone came in the back door and
that she heard a loud crash toward the back of the store and then shortly
thereafter all the lights went out. She then heard footsteps near her office
in the front of the store. Upon arrival, officers found both back doors to be
secure. Officers also checked the entire business including the area above
the ceiling tiles, but did not locate anyone.

advised that a white Toyota truck parked in her driveway and then went into a
business across the street. Officer made contact with the owner of the
vehicle and advised him that he parked in a private driveway. Driver
apologized and immediately moved the vehicle without incident.

Officer responded to the area of Willowcreek Drive and Buckboard
Lane in reference to suspicious circumstances. An anonymous caller advised
that two male juveniles had approached their son and that they appeared to be
intoxicated. Caller also advised that one of the juveniles had showed their
son a baggie that possibly contained marijuana. Officer made contact with
both juveniles who were not intoxicated. One of the juveniles advised that he
did not have marijuana and stated that someone had started a rumor at school
about him having it. Officer contacted and spoke both parties parents about
this incident.

Officer responded to location in reference to a suspicious
person complaint. Caller stated that when she went to let their dog outside
they saw a male subject standing in their yard. The subject had a beard and
was wearing jeans and a coat. Caller stated that they were not sure if the
male subject noticed them or not. Officers checked the area, but was unable
to locate the suspect. Officer also checked with several neighbors in the
area, but no one had seen the subject.

arrival, officer met with the caller, who advised that either Wednesday night
or Thursday night someone went through their unlocked van and stole some
loose change. Caller advised there were tools and a GPS in the van that they
did not find or did not take. They advised that there was no more than five
dollars in change at the most. Caller just wanted the police department to be
aware of it.

Officer responded to location and spoke with the caller about a
driving complaint. Caller stated that while riding his bicycle northbound on
Plain City Georgesville Rd., a blue four door sedan passed him unsafely and
honked his horn. Caller said it was unsafe because the car was going too fast
and was too close to his bicycle. The caller identified the subject, which
the officer contacted via telephone. The subject stated confirmed that they
did pass the caller unsafely and honked his horn at him. The subject was
warned for Reckless Operation and warned of the other consequences of his
driving behavior.

abandoned house. Caller stated that the residence had been abandoned for
awhile and they always see a cat in the window that could be stuck. Upon
officer's arrival, he checked the residence and could not locate a cat in the
window. Officer also found several ways for a cat to get in and out of the
house.

theft from a motor vehicle. Officer spoke with the caller who stated that
last night between 2130-0730 Hrs., someone went through his tan 2003
Chevrolet Tahoe. Caller stated that he doesn't believe anything was taken but
everything from his console and glovebox was thrown onto the floorboards.
Caller stated that his vehicle was left unlocked throughout the night.
Officer informed the caller that if he finds anything to be missing to
contact the police and that a report will be made.

were not sure if they locked the car or not. Caller also stated that they
didn’t believe anything else was missing.

Officer responded to the area of US RT 42 S at the corporation
limits in reference to a driving complaint. The complainant called and
advised that they were following a silver Chrysler minivan northbound on US
RT 42 and the vehicle was driving all over the roadway. I was able to locate
the vehicle at the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and West Main Street.
Officer was able to locate the vehicle in question and initiate a traffic
stop with it. Officer made contact with the driver and advised them of the complaint.
The driver was not under the influence and stated that they were not sure why
there was a complaint called in. Driver stated that there was a vehicle that
was tailgating them and thought they were upset because the driver drives
slightly under the speed limit. Officer determined that the subject was okay
to continue on.

complaint. Dispatch advised a silver Ford Escape was driving all over the
roadway. Officer located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop on US 42
north, near North Chillicothe Street. Officer determined that the driver was
very tired and safe to continue on.

Officer responded to location in reference to an intoxicated
person in the lobby. The complainant stated that the male subject took the
business phone and wouldn't give it back. He was now lying on one of the
benches. Upon officer's arrival, they observed a male passed out on one of
the booth seats. Officer's attempted to wake him up, but he would shake his
head "no" and lie back down. Officer's pulled him up to talk to him
and he stated "leave me the Fuck alone". It was obvious to officers
that the subject was severely intoxicated. Gregory Ford II was eventually
placed under arrest for Persistent Disorderly Conduct and transported to
Tri-County Jail.

Officer was requested by the Union county Sheriff's Office to
locate a black Toyota Tacoma coming into town from Converse Road area in
reference to a trespassing complaint on Mitchell Dewitt Road. Prior to
officer's arrival, a Union County Deputy located the vehicle on State Route
736 near US 42 North. Officer stood by while the deputy spoke with the
suspect and the complainant.

While on patrol on West Bigelow Avenue, officer observed a
female laying in the grass . Upon checking on the female, officer found her
to to be asleep and not responding to verbal communications. Medic was
requested to the scene to have her checked out to ensure she was okay. While
waiting on the squad to arrive, officer was able to get her to respond and
sit up. Female became known to the officer as Autumn Beach who was very
intoxicated and confused to her where she was.. Upon the arrival of the medic
Autumn refused transport after realizing what was going on around her. Autumn
Beach was eventually cited for Disorderly Conduct and released to a friend.

toward a garage. The anonymous complainant advised that this had occurred 20
minutes prior and also could not provide any physical description of the
subject. Officer was in the area at the time of call and did not locate
anyone outside that could have been shooting a gun toward a garage. Officer
also examined all closed garage doors and did not notice any damage
consistent with being shot by a gun.

Avenue in reference to a suspicious person. Caller advised
two subjects wearing hoodies on bikes were hanging out near cars parked on
the street. When the caller came outside, the two subjects rode off on their
bikes, northbound on North Avenue. Officer searched the area, but could not
locate anyone matching that description. I then returned to patrol.

Officer responded to location in reference to a report of a
burglary. Officer met with the caller who stated that he heard some noise in
his kitchen that he originally thought was his cats. When he checked his
apartment, he noticed that one of the bedroom doors was open that is usually
closed. Caller also noticed that the piece of wood that holds his kitchen
window shut was displaced. He wasn’t sure if anyone actually made entry to
the apartment, just found those two things suspicious. Officer searched the apartment
and didn’t find anything else out of the ordinary.

Officers responded to location on the report of a domestic
disturbance. Upon arrival, officers met with the female caller, who advised
that she got into an argument with her live-in boyfriend because he had his
ex-girlfriend over to the house. Caller said the argument started when the
boyfriend took a phone from the ex-girlfriend and the caller tried to get it
back from him to give to her. Caller advised that the boyfriend keeps going
back and forth between her and the ex-girlfriend. The boyfriend and ex-girlfriend
arrived back at the house a few moments later and the ex-girlfriend said she
wanted nothing to do with the ex-boyfriend anymore. She left at that time.
Caller stayed on the scene and advised she was going to gather her things and
call her parents to come and get her. Ex-boyfriend got into his vehicle and
was leaving as officers left the scene. Note: All parties were advised to
avoid each other and not to be together at the same time to avoid conflict.

Officer received a complaint from caller who stated that he had
just received a call from a man claiming to be with the IRS. The man advised
that the caller owed thousands of dollars in back taxes and that the IRS was
going to file a lawsuit against him. They told him to avoid the lawsuit to
call (252) 368 4677. Caller believed that this was a scam and wasn't going to
call but wanted the Police Department to be aware.
Upon searching the number on the internet, officer discovered several links stating that it was indeed a scam involving threats from the IRS. |

Officer responded to the intersection of South Chillicothe
Street at West Avenue in reference to a non-injury crash. Upon arrival,
officer met with all parties involved and learned, Jerry Wholaver was
southbound on South Chillicothe Street driving a white International tow
truck. Ashley Thomas was behind him in a silver Honda Pilot. In the area of
West Avenue, Jerry stopped to speak to a pedestrian that he had been looking
for. At this time Jerry backed up striking the front end of Ashley's vehicle
causing damage. Jerry Wholaver was issued a citation for Starting and Backing
Vehicles.

Officer received a complaint of a private property hit skip
crash. Officer made contact with the caller who stated that at approximately
1800 Hrs a white Dodge Dakota backed into another vehicle and left the scene.
An anonymous male witness provided the caller with the vehicles information
and license plate. Officer was unable to locate a vehicle fitting the
description using the license plate number provided. The victim had left the
scene prior to officer's arrival, but officer made contact with the victim
via public service. Victim stated that she observed minor damage to the front
of her silver Chevy Cruise. She agreed to forward her insurance information
as well as photos of the vehicle.

Officer received a complaint from a parent at the Plain City
Elementary School regarding a vehicle parked in a handicap parking spot. The
vehicle was a gray Honda Odyssey. Officer made contact with the female driver
of the vehicle and pointed out that she was parked in a handicap spot and she
did not have a handicap placard. The driver advised that her leg was injured
and she was wearing a brace on it. Officer explained that the spots are
designated only for vehicles bearing a disabled plate or having a handicap
placard hanging from the rearview mirror. Officer also explained that she
could obtain a temporary placard for a temporary disability. Driver advised
she would not park in the handicap spots again.

Officer responded to location in reference to a theft in
progress complaint. The complainant called and advised that a white female,
with blonde hair and a pink jacket, just walked out of the store without
paying for her groceries. The female got into the passenger side of a maroon
Chevrolet pickup (bearing OH Reg. DTA2603) that left the scene towards US RT
42. The truck was later located and the passenger, Shellie Blumenschein,
admitted to the theft. She was later charged with theft and transported to the
Tri-County Jail.

Officer responded to the location in reference to a dog bite.
Upon arrival, officer made contact with the victim. Victim stated that while
walking into the business, several dogs from the residence across the street
ran up to him. He stated that a midsized brown and white dog bit his left
pant leg. He received no injury, but this caused a small rip in his pants.
The female owner then yelled to him stating "just kick them away." Officer
then spoke with the dog’s owner and advised them of the complaint. They stated
that they were watching their dogs and they did not bite the victim. Officer
asked if they had gone to him. The dog owner stated that the dogs ran up to
him just outside the listed location, but that they were friendly and would
not bite. A copy of the report was forwarded to the Madison County Dog Warden
and the Madison County Health Department along with Animal Quarantine Form.

Officer was requested by the Madison County Sheriff's Office to
attempt to find Bryan Clark at the listed location. Bryan had just been
involved in a domestic violence incident at 8405 Jericho Way. Officer located
Bryan driving a silver Mazda and made traffic stop with him. Bryan was then
placed into custody without incident for the domestic violence charge. While
conducting a search incident to arrest, officer located a small clear plastic
bag containing a small amount of marijuana. Per the request of the Madison
County Sheriff's Office, officer transported Bryan to the Tri- County
Regional Jail for the domestic violence charge. Bryan was also issued a
summons for possession of marijuana.

Officers responded to location in reference to a domestic
dispute. Officers made contact with parties involved who were yelling at each
other. Officers were able to separate them, husband and wife and learned that
the argument began about a missing coffee mug. The husband also advised that
his wife had taken his passport and wouldn't give it back. When asked about
the passport, the wife advised that she was allowed to take it and gave it to
a friend for safe keeping. She later returned the passport and both parties
were advised that their actions would not be tolerated and they needed to
come up with a better way of handling arguments and their relationship
issues. They were also warned for Disorderly Conduct if their actions
continued.
