Officer responded on a driving complaint of a vehicle unable to maintain lanes and that drove over a roundabout. Contact was made with the driver, who had slurred speech, glossy eyes and a strong odor of alcohol. Subsequently, Casey Appleton, 31, of Columbus, was arrested and charged with OVI. He was also cited for Failure to Control and Driving Upon Streets Lawns or Curbs. He was released to a responsible party.
