Officer observed a maroon Chevy Blazer parked in front of the listed location. The vehicle has a flat left rear tire and hasn't been moved in well over a week. Officer placed a notice on the vehicle informing the owner it had to be moved immediately or it could face impoundment and a citation to the owner. Upon follow-up had been moved off of the street.

Officer was advised by the Madison County Sheriff's Office of a possible road rage incident that occurred near the listed location. Deputy spoke to the driver about the incident and the driver was given a warning for his behavior.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a   dog bite. Upon arrival Officer met with callers. After investigation, Officer learned that the caller attempted to pull the dog away and when she did, the dog bit her on the face near her right eye. She was able to separate the dogs without further incident. Medic 261was on scene, but she refused treatment. Referral made to the Health Department and the Dog Warden.

Officer observed Travis Lively standing outside of the listed location. Having prior knowledge of an entered warrant out of the Madison County Municipal Court for Assault, Officer made contact with him. Travis Lively was placed into custody without incident.

Officer responded to the listed location on the report of a vehicle that had crashed into the building. Upon arrival, Officer met with the business owner and the pharmacist. Officer spoke to the driver at her residence. She was not impaired and did not otherwise appear to be incapable of operating the vehicle. Officer took photos of the damage to the business and the vehicle.

Officers responded to the listed location to assist the Union County Sheriff’s Office in a warrant arrest. Upon arrival Officer stood by while Larry Liming was placed into custody for an un entered warrant out of the Union County Sheriff’s Office for Drug Trafficking.

Upon arrival Officers made contact with the caller who stated that while he was eating the other involved party began to argue with him and struck him. Officer made contact with caller's mother who did not wish to pursue with assault charges. Officer then went then made contact with other juvenile and his father. That juvenile was charged with Disorderly Conduct.

Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a missing juvenile complaint. Upon arrival Officers made contact with the caller. Upon checking the area Officers were unable to locate the juvenile. A short time later the juvenile was located and turned over to his mother.

Upon arrival Officers were advised the caller had been involved in a verbal dispute with her twelve year old daughter. Upon speaking with both parties further they agreed to separate and remain calm for the remainder of the evening.

While on patrol Officer observed a white canine in the middle of the street. While attempting to gain control of the canine, Officer learned the owner was walking the canine when it got free from its leash. The pet owner was given a warning and advised of the possible consequences if this were to happen again.

Officer told them to contact their current utility company and tell them that they were pressured into switching utility companies and she no longer wants to. Officer advised the company would probably be able to help prevent the change from going through or may be able to direct them to the proper agency to help, such as the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio.

Upon arrival Officers located and made contact with the male, who was sitting down reading a book who was neither intoxicated nor under the influence of drugs. Officer then spoke with the owner who advised the male could stay at the location.

While sitting in the parking lot of the listed location, Officers were flagged down and advised of a telecom scam. The female stated someone keeps calling her claiming they are the IRS. She was advised it was a scam, and to not give them any money. She was also advised to contact the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a dispute. Dispatch advised a male individual had an employee from the listed location call the police because someone was inside of the bathroom with his phone. Upon arrival, along with a Deputy of the Union County Sheriff’s Office, Officers were met outside by the male, who stated he had a CCW, and a firearm was on his hip. For Officer safety purposes, the male was detained. Just prior to Officers' arrival, he realized no one was inside of the restroom, and his phone was still on the sink. The male was given a warning for Disorderly Conduct and was advised he was banned from the listed location.

Officer was requested by the Madison County Sheriff's Office to respond to the listed area in reference to an injury rollover crash silver Volkswagen. Upon arrival the vehicle was on its top in the tree line and the victim was out of the car. Officer assisted medic personnel from station 261 until the arrival of Madison County Deputies and assistance was no longer needed.

Upon arrival, Officer met with the caller who advised that her ex-boyfriend has been calling and texting a co-worker trying to talk to her. She and her co-worker requested Officer make contact with the ex-boyfriend and advise him to stop calling. Officer made contact with the ex-boyfriend, via public service and advised him of the incident and he agreed to stop contacting the individuals and was advised of the possible consequences if his actions continued.

Officer was dispatched to the field on the listed location on the report of an abandoned vehicle. The vehicle, a black Ford F-150, was located just inside of our jurisdiction. The vehicle had been reported stolen out of Franklin County. The owner was contacted, but could not respond immediately, so the vehicle was towed to our impound lot.

Trevor Fillinger was placed into custody without incident and transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a canine that was locked in a red SUV. Upon arrival, Officer observed a large canine sitting on the front passenger seat. The canine abruptly got up and showed no signs of distress. Officer determined everything to be fine and checked a short time later and the vehicle was gone.

While speaking with the complainant, the pet owner was heard calling for her dog. She was reunited with her dog and was advised of the possible consequences if this were to continue.

She wanted to know what her legal options were. Officer advised that she would need to contact the agency where the incident occurred.

Upon arrival Officer made contact with the male who advised that he had gotten into an argument with his mother and he was walking to a friend's house to calm down. Officer then made contact with the mother at her residence, who stated that her son was upset about an argument they had earlier in the day. She stated the dispute was strictly verbal. Officers determined everything checked okay.

Officer was flagged down by a passerby in reference to a suspicious vehicle/person at the listed location. The complainant advised that there was a pickup parked there and a subject was walking around the outside of it. Upon arrival, Officer observed a tan Ford Ranger parked by the front door and made contact with the driver and passenger. They advised the driver picked up the passenger from a friend's house and was taking him back home when the driver's contact fell out of his right eye and was forced to pull over. He was able to locate his contact and advised that he was okay to be driving.

Officer responded to the listed location in reference to an overweight vehicle stuck in traffic. Upon arrival Officer observed a tractor trailer parked in the roadway at listed location. Officer then made contact with the driver, who stated that due to the event downtown she was unable to continue onto the only route she was permitted to take per ODOT. The vehicle was subsequently parked in that location to be moved the following day.

Upon arrival Officer learned a male asked the cashier if he could exchange change for quarters because he needed to use the car wash. The caller stated the male seemed suspicious and gave her an uneasy feeling. Officer then escorted the employees out to their vehicle.

Officer was flagged down and advised that a small back hoe was digging inside the Bicentennial Park on listed location. Upon arrival Officer made contact with involved individuals. After investigation they were advised to consult with Village Administrator and coordinate the work through the village. They were also advised to contact OOPS before resuming digging to avoid striking underground utilities.
