The officer met with the parents and the 16yoa juvenile was taken into custody for underage consumption and  a curfew violation. The juvenile was later released back into the care of their parents. Charges to be filed in Madison County Juvenile Court.

Upon arrival it was determined that one party was bothering a patron while trying to do their laundry. It was discovered that one of the parties had special needs and was not being properly supervised. The caretaker arrived and the situation was resolved.

On the stated date and time, an officer observed a resident run outside of their apartment towards the officer. It was discovered that the resident's stove had caught on fire. The FD was summonsed and the fire was extinguished by another resident prior to the FD's arrival.

On the above date and time, officers responded to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival it was discovered that a dispute had occurred between two parties and one party was threatening to harm himself. Other family members arrived on the scene and advised they would stay with the party to ensure they did not harm themselves and would call back if there were any further issues.

On the above date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival it was discovered that a family member, who no longer resides at the residence had gained entry.  The homeowner declined to pursue with charges against the suspect.

On the listed date and time,  an officer  was requested by the Union County Sheriff's Office to check on a possible abandoned vehicle at the listed location. Upon arrival the officer found a vehicle abandoned and stuck in the middle of the roadway. A tow truck was called to impound the vehicle.

The driver Zachary Ladoucer 25yoa, of Marion, Ohio was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued through the Marion County Municipal Court. He was also charged with driving under suspension and the vehicle was impounded. He was turned over to the Marion County S.O.

On the stated date and time, I was dispatched to the area of US RT 42 at West Main Street in reference to a driving complaint. The officer located the tractor trailer in question and initiated a traffic stop. It was determined that the driver was not impaired, or having any medical issues.

On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in regards to a loud music complaint. The caller stated he was awakened by someone playing loud music in a vehicle parked in front of the listed location. Upon arrival the driver had already exited the vehicle and was inside the residence. The officer made contact and advised the resident of the complaint. The resident apologized and advised they were done for the morning.

On the listed date and time while on patrol an officer observed a Volkswagen Jetta driving southbound on Carriage Drive. The officer made contact with the driver, and determined that a key that was turned in earlier in the week did in fact belong to their vehicle. The key was returned to the owner.

The complainant, who wished to remain anonymous, stated that the dog is constantly barking while outside. Contact was made with the property owner and they were warned regarding the habitual barking. On this date and time, while on routine patrol an officer observed a parked at the listed location with its parking lights on. The officer checked the vehicle and found it to be unoccupied and secure. The officer made contact with the resident who checked the car and found everything to be fine and the lights were turned off.

On the listed date and time, an officer was on patrol on South Jefferson Avenue, when they observed a female walking on the southbound side of the road near the Champaign Bank that was stumbling as she walked and appeared to be intoxicated. As the officer was speaking with the subject friends arrived and agreed to take her home. The suspect was given a warning for DOC.

On the listed date and time, an officer observed a subject walking on Harrington Drive who appeared to be a minor. It was discovered he exited a house on Weathervane Way. The officer returned to the residence the minor exited and discovered that several parties began to flee the residence. With assistance of another PCPD officer and a UCSO deputy several parties were located, or turned themselves in. Upon further investigation it was discovered the homeowners were gone and people had made illegal entry into their residence.  One of the parties had parked a vehicle in the garage and it was towed prior to turning themselves in. Charges are pending on all parties pending prosecutor review.

On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in regards to a theft complaint. Upon arrival and further investigation an officer spoke with the suspect who agreed to return the property. The victim did not wish to pursue charges at this time. The victim later returned a call advising the suspect had in fact returned their property.

SR 161 E
On the stated date and time, an officer initiated a traffic stop on SR 161 at Butler. Kelly D. Faires, 24yoa of Plain City was subsequently issued a summons for Drug Paraphernalia.  James C. Kennard, 22yoa of Plain City was charged with Open Container, Driving Under FRA Suspension, No Operators license. James had a felony warrant issued through the Union County Common Pleas and one misdemeanor warrant issued through Madison County Municipal Court.  James was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail. Further charges are pending upon results of forensic analysis.

On this date and time, an officer initiated a traffic stop with a silver Toyota for a marked lanes violations on US Route 42N. Dispatch had also advised of a driving complaint on SR 161W involving a vehicle matching the same description of the vehicle that was stopped. It was determined that the driver was eating a sandwich and chips and was not impaired.

On this date and time, an officer responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Alcott Drive. The complainant advised that the vehicle was a large white van and was occupied. The officer located the vehicle near US Route 42 and spoke to the driver who advised that his vehicle was broken down. He advised that he had already contacted AAA, but he had been waiting for two hours. He advised that he was cold and asked if he could sit in the officers cruiser. The officer sat with the driver and let him warm up while he contacted the towing company to get their estimated arrival time. They arrived a few minutes later and towed the vehicle away.

On the listed date and time, an officer responded to the listed location on the report of someone opening the door to the residence and leaving. The resident waited approximately 10 minutes before calling. Dispatch further advised that the caller did not want an officer to meet with them. The officer patrolled the area and did not observe anything out of the ordinary. The officer did make contact with the resident and advised them of their findings.

Dispatch advised that they received two 911 hang up calls from a cell phone at the listed location. Upon my arrival, I made contact with the cell phone owner, who did not realize they had sat on their phone and accidently dialed the emergency contact.

Upon arrival, officers located the subject who was walking around the house. We learned that the person was searching for a friend's canine (confirmed) in the area. After concluding everything to be fine, both units returned to patrol. The caller was advised the status of our findings.
