3/1/2013	7:22 PM	Parking Complaint	Wellsley Way	On the stated date and time,  an officer responded to a parking complaint at the listed location. Contact was made with the vehicle owner and the vehicle was moved.
3/2/2013	1:12 AM	Open Door	North Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time, an officer found an open door to a business and checked the business and secured it.
3/2/2013	2:23 AM	Juvenile	Gay St.	On the stated date an officer responded to the listed location on the report of an unruly juvenile. The officer met with the parents and the 16yoa juvenile was taken into custody for underage consumption and  a curfew violation. The juvenile was later released back into the care of their parents. Charges to be filed in Madison County Juvenile Court.
3/2/2013	12:41 PM	Injury Crash/Private	South Jefferson Ave.	On the listed date and time  an officer responded to the listed location in reference to an injury crash of a vehicle striking a pedestrian. Upon arrival the officer took an accident report and the medics transported the pedestrian to the hospital.
3/2/2013	3:22 PM	Other Dispute	West Bigelow Ave.	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a dispute between two parties. Upon arrival it was determined that one party was bothering a patron while trying to do their laundry. It was discovered that one of the parties had special needs and was not being properly supervised. The caretaker arrived and the situation was resolved.
3/2/2013	5:31 PM	Fire	North Ave.	On the stated date and time, an officer observed a resident run outside of their apartment towards the officer. It was discovered that the resident's stove had caught on fire. The FD was summonsed and the fire was extinguished by another resident prior to the FD's arrival.
3/3/2013	12:43 AM	911 Unknown	East Main St.	On the above date and time an officer responded to the listed location on the report of a 911 hang up. Upon arrival it was determined there were phone line problems.
3/3/2013	3:16 AM	Suspicious Circumstances	Lewis Cir.	On the listed date and time officers responded to the listed location in reference to someone knocking on the front door. Upon arrival the officers checked the area but did not locate anything unusual. Officers met with the caller and advised her of their findings.
3/3/2013	9:11 AM	Alarm Drop	West Main St.	On the listed date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to an alarm drop. Upon arrival contact was made with the homeowner and it was determined the alarm was set off accidentally.
3/4/2013	8:33 AM	Harassment/Menacing	Lantern Ln.	On the above date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to "scammers'' threatening the resident. Upon arrival it was determined a phone scam was being attempted. The call was an international call and the resident was given advice how to avoid the incoming calls.
3/4/2013	5:06 PM	Assist Other Agency	Perry Pk.	On this date and time, the Union County Sheriff's Office requested that an officer go to the listed address for a death notification. Notification was made and the officer remained with the party until a family friend arrived.
3/5/2013	12:14 AM	911 Unknown	South Chillicothe St.	On the listed date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a 911 unknown. It was discovered the resident had fallen asleep and accidently rolled onto their phone hitting the emergency dial.
3/5/2013	12:03 PM	Assist Other Agency	North Ave.	On this date and time, an officer accompanied representatives with Union County Department of Human Services to the listed address.
3/5/2013	3:09 PM	Domestic Dispute	Fairfield Dr.	On the above date and time, officers responded to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival it was discovered that a dispute had occurred between two parties and one party was threatening to harm himself. Other family members arrived on the scene and advised they would stay with the party to ensure they did not harm themselves and would call back if there were any further issues.
3/5/2013	5:05 PM	Burglary	Central Ave.	On the above date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival it was discovered that a family member, who no longer resides at the residence had gained entry.  The homeowner declined to pursue with charges against the suspect.
3/6/2013	4:45 AM	Assist Other Agency	Converse Rd.	On the listed date and time,  an officer  was requested by the Union County Sheriff's Office to check on a possible abandoned vehicle at the listed location. Upon arrival the officer found a vehicle abandoned and stuck in the middle of the roadway. A tow truck was called to impound the vehicle.
3/6/2013	9:40 AM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	West Main St.	On this date and time, an officer checked a suspicious vehicle at the listed location. Upon further investigation it was discovered to be an employee's vehicle.

3/7/2013	8:39 PM	Warrant - Misdemeanor	US Rt. 42 N	On the stated date and time, an officer initiated a traffic stop at the listed location. The driver Zachary Ladoucer 25yoa, of Marion, Ohio was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued through the Marion County Municipal Court. He was also charged with driving under suspension and the vehicle was impounded. He was turned over to the Marion County S.O.
3/8/2013	3:35 AM	Well-being Check	West Main St.	On the stated date and time an officer was requested to perform a well being check on an employee who should have already left. The officer made contact and discovered the employee was still working and that everything was fine.
3/8/2013	6:00 AM	Disabled Vehicle	US Rt. 42 N	On the above date and time, an officer assisted a motorist from a disabled vehicle at the listed location. The motorist already had someone enroute to pick up the vehicle and the officer transported the motorist to a location to be safe until their ride arrived.
3/8/2013	7:26 AM	Non-Injury Crash	Lantern Ln.	On the above date and time, I responded to a non-injury crash in front of the listed location. Upon arrival and further investigation a 16 yoa juvenile was cited for ACDA.
3/8/2013	8:47 AM	Domestic Dispute	North Ave.	On the above date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a domestic situation. Upon my arrival, the officer learned that a father and son had been in a verbal altercation. Both parties advised that no physical threats of harm were made from either party, nor was there any physical altercation.
3/8/2013	10:45 AM	Suspicious Person	Village Blvd.	On the above date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a suspicious male that had been in the business earlier in the day.
3/8/2013	3:44 PM	Civil Dispute/Standby	North Ave.	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location with a UCDOJFS Investigator while they investigated a referral.
3/8/2013	5:24 PM	Driving Complaint	US Rt. 42 N	On the stated date and time, I was dispatched to the area of US RT 42 at West Main Street in reference to a driving complaint. The officer located the tractor trailer in question and initiated a traffic stop. It was determined that the driver was not impaired, or having any medical issues.
3/9/2013	3:59 AM	Loud Noise/Disturbance	Murlay Dr.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in regards to a loud music complaint. The caller stated he was awakened by someone playing loud music in a vehicle parked in front of the listed location. Upon arrival the driver had already exited the vehicle and was inside the residence. The officer made contact and advised the resident of the complaint. The resident apologized and advised they were done for the morning.
3/9/2013	7:52 AM	Recovered/Found Property	Coachman Dr.	On the listed date and time while on patrol an officer observed a Volkswagen Jetta driving southbound on Carriage Drive. The officer made contact with the driver, and determined that a key that was turned in earlier in the week did in fact belong to their vehicle. The key was returned to the owner.
3/9/2013	2:45 PM	Alarm Drop	South Jefferson Ave.	On the stated date and time, an officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to an alarm drop. Upon arrival it was determined to be accidental.
3/9/2013	5:08 PM	Barking Dog	Murlay Dr.	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a barking dog. The complainant, who wished to remain anonymous, stated that the dog is constantly barking while outside. Contact was made with the property owner and they were warned regarding the habitual barking. They advised they would remedy the issue.
3/9/2013	8:28 PM	Suspicious Vehicle	West Second Ave.	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a suspicious vehicle. It was later discovered to be a visitor to a neighbor and checked okay.
3/10/2013	2:40 AM	Suspicious Circumstances	Converse Ave.	On this date and time, while on routine patrol an officer observed a parked at the listed location with its parking lights on. The officer checked the vehicle and found it to be unoccupied and secure. The officer made contact with the resident who checked the car and found everything to be fine and the lights were turned off.
3/10/2013	3:31 AM	Suspicious Person	South Jefferson Ave.	On the listed date and time, an officer was on patrol on South Jefferson Avenue, when they observed a female walking on the southbound side of the road near the Champaign Bank that was stumbling as she walked and appeared to be intoxicated. As the officer was speaking with the subject friends arrived and agreed to take her home. The suspect was given a warning for DOC.
3/10/2013	4:00 AM	Burglary - In Progress	Weathervane Way	On the listed date and time, an officer observed a subject walking on Harrington Drive who appeared to be a minor. It was discovered he exited a house on Weathervane Way. The officer returned to the residence the minor exited and discovered that several parties began to flee the residence. With assistance of another PCPD officer and a UCSO deputy several parties were located, or turned themselves in. Upon further investigation it was discovered the homeowners were gone and people had made illegal entry into their residence.  One of the parties had parked a vehicle in the garage and it was towed prior to turning themselves in. Charges are pending on all parties pending prosecutor review.
3/10/2013	8:28 PM	Theft - Misdemeanor	North Ave.	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in regards to a theft complaint. Upon arrival and further investigation an officer spoke with the suspect who agreed to return the property. The victim did not wish to pursue charges at this time. The victim later returned a call advising the suspect had in fact returned their property.
3/11/2013	12:03 PM	911 Unknown	East Main St.	On the above date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a 911 hang-up. Upon arrival, it was determined to be phone problems.

2/23/2013	2:33 PM	Assist Other Agency	SR 161 E	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to SR 161 E in the area of Scheiderer Transport in reference to a suspicious male, per the request of MCSO. Upon arrival the male appeared to be having a possible medical condition and the medics were called to the scene.
2/24/2013	3:19 AM	Domestic Dispute	Fairfield Dr.	On the listed date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival it was determined that no threats or violence had occurred. The parties agreed to separate for the evening.
2/24/2013	3:44 AM	Trespasser	Shepper Ave.	On the listed date and time and officer responded to the listed location in reference to a person trying to gain entry into the house. Upon arrival, the officer observed that the subject on the porch was the callers son. The homeowner was contacted and advised who the party was.
2/24/2013	10:48 AM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	North Ave.	On the listed date and time while on patrol an officer was flagged down by a passerby in reference to the smell of gas in the area. The officer also detected the odor of natural gas and requested PVFD to be dispatched to the area.
2/24/2013	11:00 AM	Message Delivery	Shepper Ave.	On the listed date and time an officer was requested by the Union County Sheriff's Office to make contact with a sibling of a homeowner in the county where a gas leak was detected. Contact was made with the sibling and they in turn contacted the homeowner.
2/25/2013	3:42 PM	Theft - Misdemeanor	South Chillicothe St.	On this date and time, an officer responded to the listed location on a report of scrap copper being stolen. A report was taken.
2/25/2013	7:33 PM	Drug Paraphernalia/Felony Warrant	SR 161 E	On the stated date and time, an officer initiated a traffic stop on SR 161 at Butler. Kelly D. Faires, 24yoa of Plain City was subsequently issued a summons for Drug Paraphernalia.  James C. Kennard, 22yoa of Plain City was charged with Open Container, Driving Under FRA Suspension, No Operators license. James had a felony warrant issued through the Union County Common Pleas and one misdemeanor warrant issued through Madison County Municipal Court.  James was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail. Further charges are pending upon results of forensic analysis.
2/25/2013	9:22 PM	Driving Complaint	US Rt. 42 N	On this date and time, an officer initiated a traffic stop with a silver Toyota for a marked lanes violations on US Route 42N. Dispatch had also advised of a driving complaint on SR 161W involving a vehicle matching the same description of the vehicle that was stopped. It was determined that the driver was eating a sandwich and chips and was not impaired.
2/25/2013	10:09 PM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	West Main St.	On the listed date and time, an officer was dispatched to the area of the listed location in reference to two suspicious persons/vehicles. Upon arrival it was discovered the parties were taking photos for a project they were completing.
2/26/2013	10:03 AM	Disabled Vehicle	Alcott Dr.	On this date and time, an officer responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Alcott Drive. The complainant advised that the vehicle was a large white van and was occupied. The officer located the vehicle near US Route 42 and spoke to the driver who advised that his vehicle was broken down. He advised that he had already contacted AAA, but he had been waiting for two hours. He advised that he was cold and asked if he could sit in the officers cruiser. The officer sat with the driver and let him warm up while he contacted the towing company to get their estimated arrival time. They arrived a few minutes later and towed the vehicle away.
2/26/2013	6:19 PM	Domestic Dispute	Cottonwood Ct.	On the above date and time, officers responded to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. The parties agreed to separate for the evening.
2/26/2013	7:14 PM	Driving Complaint	Madison Ave.	On the stated date and time an officer was dispatched the area of the listed location in regards to a driving complaint and loud music. An officer made contact with the driver of the suspected vehicle and made them aware of the complaint.
2/27/2013	11:45 AM	Theft - Misdemeanor	North Ave.	On the above date and time, an officer responded the listed location in reference to a stolen bicycle. Upon arrival it was determined that the bicycle was not stolen and that there was a misunderstanding.
2/27/2013	12:31 PM	Bad Checks	South Jefferson Ave.	On the above date and time, an officer responded to the Der Dutchman in reference to a bad check complaint. The officer met with an employee who presented me with numerous checks that were written by the same suspect. A case was opened and charges are pending.
2/27/2013	1:28 PM	Suspicious Circumstances	West Bigelow Ave.	On the listed date and time, an officer responded to the listed location on the report of someone opening the door to the residence and leaving. The resident waited approximately 10 minutes before calling. Dispatch further advised that the caller did not want an officer to meet with them. The officer patrolled the area and did not observe anything out of the ordinary. The officer did make contact with the resident and advised them of their findings.
2/27/2013	5:01 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	West Main St.	On the above date and time, an officer was dispatched to the rear of the old Plain City Elementary School in reference to a complaint on a habitual loose dog.  A copy of the report was forwarded to the Madison County Dog Warden.
2/27/2013	6:39 PM	Telecom Harassment	Coachman Dr.	On the listed date and time an  officer was dispatched to Coachman Drive in reference to a telephone harassment complaint. A report was taken.
2/27/2013	11:16 PM	Loud Noise/Disturbance	North Ave.	On the stated date and time an officer was dispatched to the listed location in regards to a loud noise complaint. Upon arrival the tenant was advised reference the noise and they advised they were packing to move and would stop for the evening.
2/27/2013	11:50 PM	Suspicious Circumstances	North Ave.	On the listed date and time an officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to suspicious circumstances and a possible theft. A report was taken.
2/28/2013	10:32 AM	911 Unknown	Central Ave.	On the above date and time, an officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a 911 unknown. Dispatch advised that they received two 911 hang up calls from a cell phone at the listed location. Upon my arrival, I made contact with the cell phone owner, who did not realize they had sat on their phone and accidently dialed the emergency contact.
2/28/2013	10:42 AM	Suspicious Person	West Bigelow Ave.	On the above date and time, officers responded  to the listed location in reference to a suspicious person walking around the residence. Upon arrival, officers located the subject who was walking around the house. We learned that the person was searching for a friend's canine (confirmed) in the area. After concluding everything to be fine, both units returned to patrol. The caller was advised the status of our findings.
2/28/2013	10:50 AM	Bad Checks	East Main St.	On the above date and time, an officer responded to the Plain City Auction House in reference to a bad check complaint. A suspect is known and charges are pending.
2/28/2013	2:45 PM	Dead on Arrival	West Main St.	On the listed date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a well-being check. Upon further investigation it was discovered the resident was deceased.
